Traitor
Took both my P365s out to the range today. Both shot well, no issues at all. Both are now over 500 rounds without issues, my minimum. Sorry yawl, but I start carrying one tomorrow.

How dare you report on a SIG on S&W Forum!! Actually ... I have one on my want list but I'm going to wait until this Fall. Seems like they've got most of the bugs out now but I'm in no hurry.

I'm also waiting for the fall and a little more time. They are beginning to be available without the wait. That will take the pressure off of production.

Just a week ago the Friendly Local Gun Shop had a 365 in that could actually be handled and inspected. Having heard much about the trigger, I asked if I might snap it and was allowed. “I was underwhelmed,” as the young folks say.
As to most everything else about the gun, it was fine, but nothing I saw made me think I had to have one. It does hold a few more cartridges. Whenever that subject comes up, I always think of Thell Reed’s old quip that handguns that hold a lot of ammo are “mainly useful if you plan to miss a lot.”
What does your gun weigh, fully loaded?
Anyway, all that being said, I’m always in favor of buying more/new guns, particularly when someone else is spending their money. Good luck with your new 365s!

Hey carry what you love, love what you carry.
BTW I just. May have room in my safe for any of the Smiths you may need to get rid of to make room for the SIG.

If I was going to tell on myself, I might say I bought a new Beretta M1A3 in Desert Sand. But I won't say that.

Hate to be the grammar police, but the correct spelling is y’all.
If you are to multiple people it is “all y’all”.
This taken very seriously in the South 😜.

Nice. I was stationed with a guy from Kentucky, being friends I would always make fun of his southern speak - until the day I said I’m fixin to. It rubs off on you if you’re not careful.

I reckon “all a y’all” would also be acceptable.
I had to inform one southern gal that the color “waat” was indeed ununciated with an “I”, and oil had two distinct syllables.

In certain areas of New Orleans if you get earl on your hands you wrench them off in the outside zink using the hosepipe. Trust me on this one!!
And if you need to get the attention of a group of people it's "lookee here y'all"

Now y'all lookie here. If you haven't owned a Sig you are missing something pretty good. As much as I have loved my Smiths for many many years I have also had a spot for Sigs. I have two now, a P250 in 40 S&W and 357 Sig and a P245 in of course 45 acp. The P245 is 20 years old and shoots like a dream. I can't think of a single gun maker that hasn't had a few bumps in the road.

I picked one up a couple weeks ago and just had time to put a few magazines through it yesterday.
I must say it shot very nice and pretty much point of aim. I really liked the included night sights that really jump out at you.
I have, and like 2 Shields, but both have had failure to feed issues and I have seen plenty of threads here about problems with them. I have a Glock 43 that has never had a hiccup on anything and I like it as well.
But I must say if the Sig can get through my 500 round test it may very well replace my 442 as my pocket gun.
In regard to the issues ANYTHING mechanical can break at any time. I hope that Sig has the problem under control and I will run mine until I feel comfortable with it. If not then I will send it back and keep on with what I have on hand.
When I first started in LE I was issued the Sigma for my duty weapon. They were very new then and we may have been one of the first groups. That thing was very accurate and I liked it a lot. Imagine my surprise when I went to the range and the firing pin had broken on my handgun and I had been carrying around a paperweight for maybe up to a month.
We moved away from the Sigma and went to the 5903TSW.
It happens with new stuff no matter who makes it.
