Default M 1 #5 Back to Iron Sights

Its been a while. My physical condition prevented me from shooting irons for a while. Now with this new acquisition Im really working to enjoy a Garand again. The rifle needed some TLC but seems OK. Still a work in progress.

My iron-sight Garand shooting days are over; but I think I enjoyed them more than any types of shooting. They’ve got it all—history, patriotism, accuracy, power, steel, wood, and the genius of John Garand.

Recently watching “Band of Brothers” hasn’t hurt any, either...

I know what you mean. Mine rests in the living room gun rack when I watch "Sands of Iwo Jima". Just seems like the cool thing to do. And History, Yes!
