My old favorite - Dad’s 1962 vintage Browning Auto-5 light 12. Have no idea how many doves it has taken. In 2009 I completely stripped and repsringed it. Also refinished the stock and recut the checkering. Should be good for another 50 years.

Beautiful, mine has the 28" modified choke, and was born in 1959.

Have a blessed day,

Leon

Have never hunted, and do not expect to do so in the future. But I do enjoy owning and shooting vintage hunting iron. Here are two examples that would do well in the dove fields. A 12 gauge Winchester from about 1935, choked modified and full; and a Remington 17 from 1934 (20 gauge is all they made):

In today's market a Winchester 21 is valued much more than a Remington 17, but don't let that fool you, the Remington 17 was a high quality firearm:

Did a little better yesterday afternoon. 7, Bob seems to be figuring this hunting thing out.
