The answer to this is - buy more safes! Safes are cheap!

Really? I paid an average of $4,000 for my safes and it's not just one or two...

I have found that buying Randall knives takes up some of my time and money that I would normally spend on guns. You might give that a try!

Eventually you'll have all the ones you really want...then it slows down.

I like to quote Billy Graham who said "I never did see a hearse pulling a
U-Haul Trailer". But then Muss posted a picture of a hearse pulling a
U-Haul Trailer. But I digress.
A couple of years ago I started selling some guns and giving some away
to friends and family. I got down to about a dozen and really don't miss
all those that went away. There can be satisfaction in giving something
to someone who appreciates it.
Holsters is another story. I had about 200, but managed to sell off
about 50 of them. But now I find myself buying more. I don't know
if I would call it a sickness, but it is definately an addiction.

Gun sickness?
It's better than blowing your cash at the local gin mill! Besides, they're an investment. Good luck...Jeff

Once you adjust to the realization that there is no cure you can easily fit in with the rest of us addicts. *s*

At 70+, I can tell you there is no hope for this illness. In the end you will die from it, or something else.

Of all the sicknesses out there this is one of the better ones. I am a few days away from 4 months without a purchase (accessories and ammo don't count). My CMP 1911 application has been submitted, but that doesn't count, yet.
4 months sober does not mean I am cured, instead it means my excitement is growing along with my slush fund.
There is a model 19 out there with my name on it somewhere. There is no cure, thankfully.

Cure? Cure for what? That's just crazy talk! Press on, if you want I can get you in touch with the Gun of the Month Club. That makes budgeting a bit easier. Mark

No, darn it. I just got the call from my LGS that they got in a Sig P365 I was interested in, of course I ran right out and bought it. Now just the 3 day wait until I can pick it up. Sure did feel like a very nice trigger. That's the third gun in the last 30 days, and I was supposed to be thinking about reducing my accumulation.

Great thread for us gun fans. Always something that catches your eye. Like my CS-9 and have gone back and forth with handguns. Lately a Ruger Vaquero is appealing.

Divorce. That will slow you down a few years. I take it you are married? Otherwise why would you consider it a sickness? Just like a man cave.... typically a man Is the primary breadwinner, but soon after marriage eventually gets regulated down to one section of the house for a man cave usually someplace nobody else in the family wants to go like the basement.

Oh there you go. Maybe something out of the Vietnam era in a fighting knife. You won't have much in your pocket but lint is you start on these. BUT, I love em
