Default New training tool

For years I have been teaching trigger control and sight picture using a SIRT laser training gun. These are available in a Glock 19 or M&P full size semi-autos. In addition, they allow you to use your existing holster and practice your draw and shoot every doorknob in the house without racking the slide on your personal firearm.

They recently introduced a somewhat generic small Pocket Pistol version. The grip shape can be given a different feel with the addition of provided different shaped mag baseplates. The mag is not removable. The slide is fixed. The gun has reasonable plastic sights but the front and rear dovetails will permit a simple swap if you wish. This gun will come close in overall size and feel to quite a few small guns, and mine with the flat baseplate and adjustable trigger, comes very close to replicating my P365 although due to just slightly larger shape, it will not comfortably fit in my P365 holster. A few minutes with some sandpaper and I could easily alter the grip to equal the size of my Sig.

This gun may be the perfect trainer for G43, Some Ruger models, and Shield shooters.
In terms of overall durability, I can only offer the fact our RSO's carry the G19 model in our bags and the four of them collectively have had hundreds of thousands of trigger pulls with no problems.
