A warehouse of WWII weapons recovered in a peat bog
Not sure that these World War II weapons (Mosin Nagant's, anti-tank rifle, live 45mm Russian Anti-Tank rounds, live mortar rounds and other memorabilia) were pulled out of a "peat bog" in Russian territory or not --- since I can't speak Russian --- But I'm assuming that they were.
Can anyone identify the anti-tank rifle --- 16:44 IN THE VID?
Any Russian to English translation would be helpful...
Thanx

The survey party chief that I used to work for...once dug-up a live hand grenade on Aberdeen Proving Ground in Harford County, Maryland. Abandoned munitions in the Proving Ground swamps are usually flagged-off with yellow caution flagging --- But the ground where he found the grenade...wasn't flagged-off.

Two world wars have probably left a lot of munitions all over Europe. Not sure I would mess with them but they are most likely water logged ,but all it would take is one live one.

I did some research on the web --- And the question I ask about what type of anti-tank rifle in the OP is --- It looks like a 1941 - PTRD-41 Russian anti-tank rifle.
The type of caliber that the PTRD anti-tank rifle chambers...is in 14.5mm

When I was in Kosovo, one of the locals brought in five (5) German 88 shells that he had found while digging on his property. One of the shells had a hole in the side where he had struck it with a pick! They were in the trunk of his car.
We called the Swiss EOD soldiers to dispose of the shells. When they are arrived, they drove to an empty lot near the police station. The Swiss told the citizen that they were going to blow them up. If he wanted his car, he would have to unload the shells from the trunk! The citizen did unload them and drove his car to safety. And then the Swiss made a big boom.
Hand grenades, machine guns, sub guns, AKs and Mauser rifles turned up all of the time.

Communist munitions from WW2 era are not the quality of western powers
Jap stuff was not the best either, especially after war turned against them.
Chinese Commie might be worse. They didn't worry about human life not
even their own men. They had unlimited man power so a grenade that
when off prematurely was no big deal. In the American Legion magazine
every once and a while you will see an article " Last Causualty of Battle X,
1st or 2nd WW. Some farmer plows up a shell and it goes off. There have
been cases of Civil War shells going off that have been in the earth since.

Years ago in the UK I had a buddy who had cause to be on the ranges on Salisbury Plain. For some reason, he and a co-worker decided to hike back across a big open area rather than wait for transport. About 2/3 the way across my buddy caught something solid in a tussock of grass. He nervously pointed this out to his coworker who gave a classic reply:
"Don't worry, Bill, I did the same about ten minutes ago. Just keep walking".

Finding a PPSh drum in a peat bog? A special moment.
Populating it with corroded ammo you found a few yards away? Priceless.
I guess hedgehogs tread lightly enough not to set off the mines.
Watching the anti-tank rifle section the guy pointed out shrapnel damage. It looked more like a premature in the breech to me.

utube has vids of tanks being recovered from rivers and swamps. Most have some ordinance aboard, along with the guns.
Rare Soviet T-34 Tank Recovered from River Bed
Most Russian drivers appear to be tank trained and do try to go through obstacles .

About ten years ago, a few blocks from where I was living in Tokyo at the time, an unexploded WWII bomb was found.
I did not attempt to approach the area to see what was going on, but noted the neighborhood was cordoned off while the authorities dealt with it.

Saw a video a while back where they recovered a fighter from a bog in Scotland(iirc). The lack of oxygen in the bogs prevents corrosion. Loaded 50 cals worked.

I keep hoping to dig up something like an arms or money cache on my land.
So far, all I've found is old horseshoes.

It wasn't too long ago when a man was killed in Chester, Virginia when a Civil War shell he'd found while relic hunting went off in his garage.
One of my high school teachers had three fingers blown off by another shell he dug up while relic hunting.
A friend of my ex-wife's family found a 10" Dahlgren Shell in the yard of the farmhouse she and her husband were building just below Fort Darling (just downriver from Richmond). The police were called, they called the bomb squad, who removed the shell and took it to Fort Lee, where it was exploded and (as I heard the story) it blew a hole in the ground "big enough to bury a Volkswagen."
That stuff is still out there.

I once saw a idiot working on a 40mm Bofors projectile with a screw driver and a ball peen hammer. They were fused 3 ways, contact, air burst and tracer burn out. When officers were DEROS it was custom to present them with a dummy round with inscriptions on brass. A live projectile was removed from the case. Nose unscrewed and contact & air burst fuse removed. Then tracer/fuse unscrewed out of rear of projectile. Then it was
put in a bucket of diesel and the charge would turn soft and easily cleaned out. This guy had nose cap unscrewed and was chipping the TNT while still in a live shell. It's a wonder HQ didn't have more causualties on their Awards staff.

Maybe if it were a very old, very small, very sickly black bear, and that's a pretty big maybe.
Now if we're talking a Polar Grizzly Sow Hog, you need at least a .50BMG loaded with a silver-core armor-piercing incendiary round made of depleted Uranium to slow down their cellular regeneration enough to properly behead them with a silver-bladed chainsaw, stuff their mouth full of garlic, then drop in a volcano to insure that it stays dead.
Now granted, I'm basing my information on the internet, which tends to exaggerate things, so a 20x120 Vulcan would probably be more adequate.

There's a great Facebook page called Ghosts of the Eastern Front. The guys go around digging up battlefields, and routinely turn up guns, shells, helmets, and bodies.
The Ghosts of the Eastern Front Battlefield archaeology - Home | Facebook
When I was stationed on Guam in the 80s it was common for dependent wives picking jungle flowers not far off a trail to report finding a skeleton nearby, usually with a rusty Arisaka barrelled action close at hand. It hadn't been all that long since the last holdout had come out of the jungle.
It was also common to get a call from a mover packing up a guy's household goods reporting live munitions of some sort - usually jap hand grenades found in the boonies.
Once a WWII water mine washed up on the beach. It looked just like the one from Gilligan's Island:
EOD came out and packed explosives around it. They moved us back quite a ways, but when their stuff went off the old mine went off, too. The blast shook the ground and made me stagger, but the thing I remember most is that sand rained down for almost a minute.
