Default Another Wierd One: J.C. Higgins Model 88...

Question for all of you High Standard Sentinel owners out there: Will Sentinel R-101/102/103 grips fit a JC Higgins Model 88? I would be inclined to believe the answer is yes, as both models were made by High Standard in the same period of time.

I picked up the Model 88 this morning on a whim for $125 at my LGS, mostly out of curiosity, and also because I've always wanted a Sentinel revolver. It came with an odd set of thumb rest grips on it, and I'm looking to swap them out. It appears I can get original JC Higgins grips from Numrich and eBay, but I'm curious if the High Standard grips would fit, as they look a little bit nicer.

Thoughts?
