Crime of the Week-
Winchester Police Department is investigating a B&E that occurred sometime between 9/21/18 and 9/29/2018 at the Kernstown Battlefield Museum. Suspect(s) are unknown at this time but the following is what was stolen and may try to be sold or pawned. We are looking for anyone with any information as to any strange activity or suspicious persons someone may have seen in the area of the battlefield within that time frame and also any information on anyone selling civil war era type weapons or the other items listed below.

1 1861 North Savage .36 CAL. Revolver
1 1858 Remington .44 CAL. Revolver
1 1860 Colt 4 Screw Army standard issued sidearm
1 1873 Saber model Sword
1 Authentic civil war cartridge box
1 US Navy Leather Primer Pouch Navy Yard NY 1863 with two anchors stamped on the front
1 1857 Smith Patent Carbine
1 Confederate double barrel shotgun
Unknown quantity spent civil war bullets
