Default New Sig M17 U.S. military pistol?

Wondering if anyone has one of these yet, I'm not big on polymer striker fired guns but I've always liked military weapons and I like a thumb safety and it also supposedly has a nice trigger. I saw one for sale on the net for $599 which is a bit high but Sig has so many government orders to fill the price may not come down for a long time.

The ones without the thumb safety are plentiful and (sort of) reasonably priced, the ones with the safety a little higher but available, and the "limited edition commemorative" in the $1100 range. Not getting one yet.

I got one a couple of weeks ago. I got it mostly because I have examples of most other U.S. military hanguns of the 20th century, figured I might as well get this one too. Prices seem to be all over the place with an average around $650 around here so $599 seems pretty reasonable to me. I will say it does have a better trigger than the Glock and accuracy seems excellent. I also like the modularity. Can’t say yet how it will hold up over time but, so far at least, I like it fine.
