Default Help from Springfield X D S owners

Hey folks I have come to my breaking point if you will on this Springfield X D S 45 AC P. ( to the point I have it for sale) My issue is slide bite from this gun. Before all start saying its my grip, its not. Its my hands. If I grip and fire this gun normal grip slide will bite me real bad. So I have to be way down on grip to keep from bite. That caused other issuses limp wristing. This is my last ditch effort. I love the way this gun carries and weight of it. Plan A is if it sells go with a M &P Sheild 45 3.3. Plan B is if it dosnt sell find a beaver tail to fit it. Glock makes after market ( I dont. have any glocks) This is my 1 st Springfield and if I dont get resolved will be my last. There are a bunch of others out their have the same issue as me. Springfields reply is hmmm we never heard of this issue . Really lies . ugg

I have no slide bite with mine or limp wristing issues. But then I've never had those issues with any gun. (Scope bite is a different issue though!) However, if you and the gun aren't a good match then there's no shame in moving on to something else. Find what works best for you.

It would be best if you could try the model you're interested in next before purchase. I know the local (to me) Lotus shop has a range with a fairly broad selection of rentals you can try.

I think the XDs was fairly innovative when it came out but it's not really unique now.I prefer my Springfield Micro 45 1911. I'm sure you can find a good match for you.

Your XDs is now a used gun and isn't a collectible yet if it ever will be. Prices on them new are lower than what they were initially. You will take a good hit on price. Such is life.
