Default Springfield Amory EMP4

I looked at one of these yesterday, and it seems like a fine pistol. Anybody here own one and would share your thoughts about it?

It probably would not be my carry pistol but looks like it might be fun to shoot.

Have a blessed day,

Leon

I have one and the *******. will not reliably eject. Also, the sights seem to be regulated for 115 grain ammo only. It is pretty though. I hope yours is better.

They look really nice. Why wouldn't you use it for carry? I'd think it'd be great for that. I'd like to have one, just not enough to buy one at $1K. I do have the micro 1911 they put out several years back. I've been happy with that one. I think you should buy it and not like it and sell it to me for $600.

I have one of the shorter ones that I have been using for an EDC gun for close to two years. I have had zero trouble with it other than routine maintenance. (I had some extraction-ejection trouble a while back, cleaned out the extractor channel real good and that fixed it.) If I could get one of the 4" versions in the People's Republic of California I would do so.

I was interested in these and read enough reports to decide upon my Dan Wesson Guardian instead. That was my decision in the end,.
