Default Taurus PT111G2c 9mm

My grandson took it to the range today and shot a hundred rounds without a malfunction of any kind. He mixed brands of ammo and shot different types (HP and solids) in the same mag. A good buy at $160 shipped. It will be my daughters when I am done with it.
He also shot about eighty rounds through my RIA full size 1911 type 9mm with no malfunction of any type. It already had a couple of hundred rounds through it. He will get this one when I am through with it. He said he would clean them and bring the to me over the weekend. He's a good one.

What? No malfunctions in a Taurus pistol nor in a RIA 1911? Based on what others have said, both of these are junk, barely worth their weight in scrap metal. Hmmmmmm... could it be that Taurus and RIA do produce nice firearms? Your evidence seems rather convincing.

Glad your grandson had a good day at the range.
