Kimber K6s
Just when I thought it was safe to go back to the LGS, I read that Kimber is making the K6s revolver with an exposed hammer. The gun gods must have something against the zero balance on my credit card.

And they have a 3" barrel!! It's a nice looking revolver series. I'd want to shoot one first but they are interesting for sure. Good luck staying away.

I'd originally planned on getting a K6s, but decided on a Model 66 Combat Magnum because it has an exposed hammer. Now it looks like I'll have both.

Can't go wrong with both! That's usually the default answer to any firearms question, just get both and sort it out later.

I have a 2" DAO K6s as well as the 2.75" 66-8. Now I am trying to figure out how I can justify buying a 3" K6s in DA/SA. I going to have to sell some of my other guns!!!

Love my 2” barrel k6s. Houge has out now G10 grips that have a pinky rest on them, it extends past the bottom of grip frame. Makes a world of difference if you have a meduim-large hand.

These revolvers have one of the smoothest, defensive weight triggers available out of the box. Kimber has been known for their super accurate barrels (rifles in the beginning, and subsequently handguns) and this little gun is no exception. Haven't fired the new exposed hammer edition, but I believe we'll probably be pleased . . .
