Sig p365 magazine help.
Does anyone else have issues getting a p365 loaded?
I bought my sister in law one (based off reviews and the fact that she liked it best to fit her hands). I'm having a hard time loading the magazines past 6 rounds, I don't know how to instruct her... I was in the army, I work law enforcement, and now I'm embarrassed. I'm not embarrassed enough not to ask for help though. Thanks for any insight friends.
Can any brothers offer me any guidance? I feel like such a ****.

I don't know, but, I'd call Sig or wherever you bought it.
You have a lucky Sister in law!
Good luck,

The magazines springs for my P365 were very very stiff at first (both the 10 and 12 rd mags), but have loosened up a bit with use. The mags are really hard to load when new. An UpLula magazine loader makes the job much easier and I would recommend it or your favorite magazine loader.

In the absence of a mechanical loader, fill the magazine as much as possible, wait a day or two and try putting more rounds in. Stop the process if the gun is urgently needed .

I also use the UpLula to load my P365 and many other magazines as well.

Uplula loader works and its cheap enough.
The mag does seem to break in after the spring is worked a few times.

My P365 magazines are much easier to hand load after being cycled through maybe 10 times now. But, I did find utilizing a GLOCK 19/23 magazine speed loader worked. Not a perfect fit, but doable...

Another option, a RangeTray speed loader.
All you do with this one is; Drop in a round, push down and forward.
With this one you have better leverage and you don't have to use your fingers to do anything except pick up a round and hold the mag to load.
I had a heck of a time loading the 6 and 7 round Sig P938 mags until I bought this.
They make one for the P365 too! They are on sale for $10.50.

Thanks gentlemen. Looks like I'll spend a few more bucks to make sure she can load her own magazines. She'll deal with it as its her first firearm, and she doesn't know better. AHowever, I'm really not fond of the idea of a magazine I can't load by hand. How many extra accessories do I need to buy to make my firearm function?
Anyway, thanks again fellas.

YES. In my experience, it's miserable. I have some orthopedic problems with my right hand from repeat injuries and, as a result, have trouble with the fine manipulation and force necessary to load this thing. It's not a problem with any other pistol. In fact, it's so bad that I considered selling. It got marginally better over time but not a lot.

I guess we all agree loading these magazines isn’t a dream come true. On the other hand, Sig somehow managed to defy physics with these 10 & 12 round magazines and the gun.

You guys have me feeling a little better.
Sig however has me upset. If they are going to make magazines that aren't possible to hand load, the 365s should ship from the factory with a mechanical magazine loader. I consider this a huge oversight by Sig. Already having issues and haven't even made it to the range.

I agree....sig rushed to get these on the market. They must expect their customers to be test subjects working out the bugs and issues with the 365?

I have run into this issue with several high capacity mags from different companies/designs. This is not just a Sig thing. Even Glock mags can be a bear the first few times. This normally goes away with use.

I just don't consider 10 rounds ahigh capacity magazine. Nevertheless, I hope you are right about it going away.

I’ve used a generic Glock loader to good effect.
It’s not as slick as the Uplula, but it will get them all in there.
Though I doubt that anyone here would have such a thing...

Glad to know I am not the only one having issues with the magazine loading. It is better now but I really had a difficult time in the beginning.

My wife has a problem getting her sig mag fully loaded also. And I’ll admit it can be a chore for me too.

The P365 Mag's are a Bear to load for the first outing! After that they do ease up quite a bit. That said, get yourself a $30 Uplula Loader - they are GREAT!!! Allows loading of the 10 rounds in seconds!

They do ease up quite a bit after a few outings - no worries....
Remember, it is a short magazine with 10 rounds so it NEEDS a stiff spring!

In my experience ladies don't have any problem with accessorizing! Seriously though, the Uplula is handy and can be used for anything from a single stack to double stack and everything in between. It makes extended range trips a lot more enjoyable.

I have seven mags for the P365. Load them full, let them sit for a few days and it will get easier.
UPLULA loader is the only way to go.
