Default Knife auction

Just saw a post in my local paper that there will be a knife operation auction this coming weekend in Titusville Pa . I guess this is the end of Queen Cutlery or the beginning of a new one hopefully based here in the US

Just looked at the list.
Didn’t see any knives,
Knife parts and equip to make them.
Big Great Eastern Fan here, I hope it’s not them!

I hate hearing that. They made some splendid knives. I only have one left at present, a slim single-blade trapper with a D2 blade that Mike Stewart put a convex edge on. Terrific cutter.

Yes, Queen closed up shop due to "poor cash flow". Big Great Eastern is still in business. I just visited Titusville a few days ago. I wanted to shop at Big Great Eastern, but they were closed during my weekend visit back home.
