Handsome family!
I am still contemplating a 29 as an addition to my small G family.

Maybe a 43X or a 48 in your future? Not that you need one.

Glocks are the modern incarnation of the 4 inch Highway Patrolman in my opinion. A solid, no frills, hard-core defense weapon. And the more refined one gets in their tastes, the more one appreciates the basics I think.

Really love the 19x. Somehow, the 45 has a better trigger. Don’t know what happened, but it’s better. . .

I was shopping around and read some online complaints that the cutout in the magwell the Glock 19 gen 5 rubbed the pinky. I thought they were just trying to find something wrong with the new gen 5 so bought one anyway. It didn't bother me the first 3-4 mags, but then it started cutting in to my pinky and it didn't really hurt, but it was definitely distracting.
I bought a slip on finger groove from Hogue and it helps a lot. I should have just went with the 19X.
I'm going to keep shooting and if i can't get comfortable with it, I'll swap it for the 19x.

Only Glock I have is a 27 Gen 4.
Like it a lot.
Fun to shoot, and don't mind the recoil.

Only Glock I have is a Polymer80 Gen3 19. It's actually a lot of fun to shoot and is accurate enough. I like to use it for a car travel gun as it's comfortable to sit on IWB for some reason. It did brass to face me regularly until I swapped the ejector. The size is very efficient and I put it together rather inexpensively.
Some people here are rather triggered by the mere mention of Glock. I find it funny. Welcome to the past thirty years.

It's probably my favorite gun to shoot, currently. It's capable yet challenging enough to be interesting.

Contrary to popular believe, my shooting interest is not limited to Korths, vintage S&W revolvers, Swiss SIG P210s, Hammerlis, Anschutz 54 sporters and such classics: I carry a Glock since several decades and like shooting them.

My only one is the Gen 4 Glock 17 used mostly for range fun & LEOSA certification. I have a Q for those who own the G42 .380: How do you like it (reliability & accuracy) and is it easy to pocket carry? Full disclosure - my EDC is the LCPII.

I currently carry my 42 in a Fobus OWB paddle, and it pretty much disappears. I'm waiting on SnubbyFan to finish an IWB which I'll carry AIWB style, but left handed. I've got the same holsters from SnubbyFan for my S&W 442 and my Glock 43, and I really like that method. Unnoticeable even under a thin drifit t shirt. For me and the way I dress, the 42 is just too big to pocket carry. I save that for my NAA .22 WMR and occasionally my KelTec P-32 . . .

My only Glock is a G42 wich I customize with trijicon sights, a Ghost disconector, a slide racker (found it to be very efficient)and 3 extended magazines. I think is a very good little gun, functions flawlesly. Is the one I carry the most to save my bacon here in TOMSTONE Mexico.
