Kurusu,
1. Thanks for your kindly compliment.
2. I'm living in WW...nah, not Wild West, but here:
Westerwald - Wikipedia
I never made it to Portugal and I did only one "International Shooting"
in the middle/late 1990's when some friends took me with to one of this nice
"Davy Crockett Shootings" in the Netherlands:
We won the Revolver Team discipline and I -having a good day - finished 1. with
the HEGE with 97 / 100 (This good old rules: No sighters, 13 shot (including loadig)
in 30minutes, best 10 shots counting for the result).
But perhaps...did you ever visited Düren

and/or Pforzheim ?

Didn't go to Pforzheim 2012. My father passed in November 2011and I didn't compete in 2012.
Too bad you didn't make it to Barcelos 2010. The World Champion scored 96.
About the scoring. You forgot to mention, as did I , that you only count the higher mark if your impact is at least half above the scoring ring.

That's the "young" Mr.Pedersoli. I met him in 2010.
Met the "older" Mr. Pedersoli (Pier Angelo) in 2006.

We are NOT reenacting battles. We target shoot using replica and original firearms from the War or Northern Aggression.
I have seen Hege and other accurized revolvers for sale in our Bulletin Board:

Thanks for the info. My wife's family is from PA. We drive past Winchester, VA close to where they do a national N-SAA event each year. Always seem to miss the schedule.

Kurusu,
1. Sorry for your loss. My father died last year..
2. My last visit in Pforzheim (German Black Powder Championship) was in 2009. In 2010
I seriously damaged my strong side shoulder. So I fear, my better shooting days are over.
3. So (perhaps) some nicer things. Just (re-)found some older pics (Not my Manton & Not my car !):
One Saturday at my shooting club, me shooting with the Hämmerli 208 there was a a nice guy with a
very nice pistol...
A Manton (OK, "only" a HEGE replica) flintlock !
I put a new target out when he had shot his "sighters" and after he had finished his 15 shot programm
he told me:"I have 3 loads over... Do you want to try ?"
Of course I wanted (...have not seen a Manton in the last 10 - 15 years, long out of production).
First shot...a bit low ("in the white"), 2 + 3 shot: 8 and 9 (also low)...but with a bit adjustment:
The HEGE Manton should shoot like the HEGE Remington 😁
I had not seen a Morgan + 8 since the 1980's. So I had to took a closer look...But I did not got offered,
to try out the car .

Nice little rifle. Who made it? For a while that style was imported by Replica Arms of Marietta Ohio. It was a factory copy of a rifle built by Cecil Brooks.

There are actually two Nationals held at Fort Shenandoah, which is the home range of the N-SSA. The spring National is held the 3rd weekend of May and the fall National is held the 1st weekend in October. The Nationals are the largest skirmishes held with lots of sutlers (vendors). There are also regional skirmishes held there, as well as throughout the country.
If you go back to the link I posted, there is a menu at the top. The skirmish calendar shows when and where the local shoots are held. Probably the closest skirmish to you would be in Statesville NC. The nice thing are about the local skirmishes is that interested people are allowed to shoot, which isn't possible at the Nationals.

P.44,
1 Sorry for your loss.
2 My eyes are just getting older.
3 Beautiful Manton and beautiful Morgan. Too bad they aren't yours. Maybe you can fix that.
4 I have a Manton flintlock replica but it's from ARSA. Not as beautiful as the Hege. But shoots great. The lock is well designed and as long as the flint holds it's edge the ignition time is quite fast.

Jim,
remember when I wrote the price comparison in between Korth, Colt OMM and S&W K-22 in the other revolver thread? It was based on a 1969 Hebsacker flyer. The are having a cooperation with Uberti and Pedersoli for a very long time and that relationship should allow them also to request a certain quality.
The German S&W importers do the same, there are many S&W models sold in Germany, that we do not see here and many come with Nill grips to satisfy the needs of German competitors.

Sounds like a German version of Lew Horton! There was a recent article in DWJ in which they compared a new S&W 686 to one of the newest "dressed up" Korths. The S&W did very well for itself.
(They should run the test again after 25,000 rounds )
I noticed similar things in the UK, back when I used to read the old publication "Target Gun". In fact, that's where I first heard of things like the Hege Siber and LePage, both modern replica single shot percussion target pistols of very fine quality.
(Jay, the OP, I hope your thread has not gone too far astray for you! Thanks for getting it rolling!)
Jim
PS: I wonder if the ones that don't meet Hebsacker quality just get exported to the USA for sale in the "big box" and online discount gun stores?

In Germany it is called club 30, it's actually only 27 gun smiths and importers that are participating in the ongoing S&W certified armourer courses.

Here is the real thing, not a repro. Suhl, German made. .69 caliber, arsenal converted from flintlock to percussion in the 1840s (IIRC). Yes, I do shoot it occasionally.

Guys a lot of your might be scratching your heads and thinking “now how do you carry spare ammo in the field for my percussion revolver?”. Well guys this is how I do it:
This is a USGI leather first aid pouch. It’s the perfect size to hold a tin of Altoids (I prefer the cinnamon ones but as you see the mint one works too) which itself is the perfect size to hold six .44 caliber “Dixie tubes”. A Dixie tube is just another term for a rubber pipe end cap. These are repurposed by Dixie Gun Works out of Union City, Tennessee and sold as a handy way to carry spare ammo in the field. You pour in a measure of gunpowder, stuff a ball in there, and a lubed felt wad can be stuffed right above the lead ball.
Guys what this gives you is a self contained, water resistant single round of ammunition that makes for a handy reload in the field. Nicer than lugging around a powder flask, ball bag, wads, etc. Also in the tin is a nipple’s prick for ensuring a clean fire channel, a small rag, and some percussion caps. This is a handy setup, especially for hunting and camping purposes. You can top off as you go so you’ll always have a full cylinder after popping bunny or squirrels.
Guys here is a great YouTube playlist from master woodsman Blackie Thomas. He uses cap and ball revolvers often and these videos will show you these aren’t just a novelty. They can be a practical and useful field revolver:
Percussion Revolver Series

OK, this one is not a cap and ball revolver, but a flintlock muzzle-loading pistol. Japanese reproduction of an English Tower pistol, or so I am told. Caliber is .62 (IIRC).
Edit to add: Yeah, it works! :-)

After burning up some Swiss No. 2 (I like hot water+soap and BALLISTOL
for cleaning bp-guns):
Dirty HEGE Remington ARMY MATCH and Pedersoli Le Page
Looking at the Le Page, somehow this old german (...hat der Blinde schon geschossen ?)
bp-shooter joke comes to mind.... I try a translation:
The Duel
There once were two men -a blind and a deaf- who got into an argument with each other. After
all was over, nobody knew exactly why or how it started (women, horses...whatever).
But they got so in rage, there was only one way to clear it. Exactly: A Duel...
So a few days later in the morning dawn they met with their seconds at the choosen place. The
seconds opened one of this beautiful pistol-cases*, examinated the pistols, wiped down the barrel
to remove all oil, perhaps even shot a few caps to clear the nipples and started loading:
Putting in the carefully measured blackpowder, centering a patch exactly over the muzzle, laying on
the .44 round ball...When THE BLIND -who barely could differ between day and night- a bit nervous
asked his second:
"Is The DEAF already here ?"
And a few seconds later, the seconds just shoving the patched roundballs down the barrels onto
the bp-loads, THE DEAF -who couldn't hear anything- a bit anxious to his second:
"Has THE BLIND already shot ??"
