Extra .410 dbl barrels
Does anyone know where I might find a set of 26” doubles for a Stoeger Uplander?
Are they “ drop in” or would they need fitting?
I just got a Youth model for my wife to use with 22” barrels.
I’d like to pick up a spare 26” set but can’t locate any.
BTW, it’s a SxS

I think contacting Stoeger would be your only recourse.

This doesn't answer your question but Academy Sports just bought the Turkish company Yildiz, who make excellent side by side shotguns for a very modest price. Academy only sells one type of Yildiz SXS but hopefully they will be bringing their whole lineup to America soon. I have a beautiful Yildiz SXS 20 gauge that's taken lots of pheasants, quail, and turkey along with thousands of clay pigeons and it's performed wonderfully and cost me a bit over $475 and I bet if you're able to find a set of barrels for the Stoeger they won't be much less than a whole new gun.

Their site is no help. Nothing there about what I need.
Midwest Gunworks advertises Stoeger barrels but not a double.410.

A few years ago I inquired by email of Stoeger about getting and extra set of SxS bbls so I could fit them up to a customers gun.
Their response back was that they did not sell extra bbl sets for any of their SxS or O/U shotguns as they were each hand fitted at the Factory to the particular action.
They did not mention or offer (in that email) any services for the customer to send in their Stoeger to have a 2nd set Factory fitted.
The idea was dropped by the customer & I never followed it up any further.

How do you know Academy bought Yildiz? Academy is the only importer of Yildiz shotguns and Briley's in Houston is the sole warranty and repair station.
I own and shoot 3 Yildiz shotguns. Yildiz is a major manufacturer of shotguns sold world wide mainly in Europe. Academy only imports a portion of what Yildiz makes ..........So I Believe you are mistaken.

You may want to go to shotgunworld.com or doublegun.com and give them a try. You just may luck up and find what you are looking for.

Considering that he was likely the assistant manager of a Rent-A-Center last week, I'll third it...

I don’t think the are any to be had, at least for less than the cost of a whole new gun.
Thanks all!
