You have an unusual pair there, but I bet that both shoot well.

Is 7.65mm Luger ammo common where you live?

Is the Luger Swiss? Portuguese? I think it's the 1929 Swiss model?

The Swiss M29 was manufactured in October of 1943. I have owned it for less than a year. The Government Model I have owned for 44 years.

SGammo and Target Sports both retail PPU .30 Luger.

The 1911 shoots very well and the M29 is a darn target pistol.

I had a Colt GM like that about the same time period. I got it when I got bit by the IPSC bug and HAD to have 1911. It didn't take me long to figure out that I was short of both money and talent to be a big time IPSC star.
