Rossi 92 with stainless receiver and barrel but
Magazine tube blued, barrel bands blued. Front sight on barrel band, blue screws and blue loading gate. Also has the Puma medallion on the left side and a fixed saddle ring (also left side.) It also has the flip safety on the bolt (as they do now.) .44 magnum. 20 inch barrel.
The wood seems to be dark, like the old Rossi rifles.
How old is this gun? Is $378, tax included, a fair price?
Thanks!!

You can enter the serial number on Rossi's website to look up the date of manufacture.
Serial No. Lookup

For $398 OTD you have to ask?
Sounds like a great deal to me if it is in new or near new condition.

I'm not having any luck with that page.
When I go there I can't seem to find a "box" or anywhere to enter the serial number?

The ugly flip safety comes off simple enough and can be replaced with a plug from Steve's Gunz.

That's odd, I know there used to be. I guess you have to e-mail them now by clicking "contact us" then giving them your SN.

LOL, I wish.
Clicking CONTACT US takes you to a page with a snail-mail address and a phone number to call weekdays 9am-9pm!
I may give them a call if I think of it later this week.

It looks in pretty good condition. I've looked at it twice. It is as light as a pistol!

Wow, I know for a fact that a few years ago there was a box where you could simply type in your Serial Number and click a button to get all the information on your gun, or at least that's how it was on the Taurus website. (Rossi and Taurus are both owned by Braztech.)

Picked up the little cannon. With just factory sights it shoots great using PMC .44 magnum JHPs. That group is from 25 yards.
Notice the blued magazine tube and lever. Even the screws are blued. I just don't know why they made it that way.

Corrosion protection for carbon steel? Lots of people also like contrasting gun parts. I'm not a fan but in this case maybe a functional purpose for it?

Are you certain that is stainless?
I would think that nickel plate would be a much more likely probability

Well I go it cause it looked unique. And it shoots quite well and is 100 percent reliable so far.
I thought maybe it might be nickle plated. I'll have to look real close but all my research has shown they have always been either blue or stainless for the major parts. That is barrel and frame. Screws and even the magazine tube have been nickel plated! Even hammers nickeled..
