I appreaciate your nice shot guns but I think that my Beretta 1301 Tactical is kind of nice
And my Ithaca M37 Ex Mississippi Highway Patrol is kinda nice too.
I mean you guys keep enjoying your all fancy shotguns and all just a lot of different rods in the house

I'm biased here but here's my Browning 725 Citori Sporting Golden Clays. 32" Barrels. Purchased it as a gift to myself for leaving a job I hated with the yearly bonus from said job. Now I'm happy. Ha
While I was at it, I did the fancy leather case & added some Briley chokes too.

Sorry for the lousy picture, it is really hard for me to take good picture in the museum. Plus that was several years ago with first generation cell phone pictures.

It is hard to argue the graceful lines, beautiful wood, and deep bluing of the old 1100 Tournament Grade guns. This is the butt stock of my 1983 Tournament Grade Skeet, that I still use dove shooting every year.

21s are definitely sexy, especially the higher grade models, but I recommend walking through the Perazzi and Krieghoff booths at the annual NRA conference.

Nice shotgun but I agree with some of the others, the furry friend is the most fun part.

SKB built the Ithaca double guns of recent years and made Wetherby doubles after they left Italy. They seem very good guns and are usually good values.

For me it's got to be the Belgian A5 Browning mixed in with with the a sweet 16 and the 20 to match which are rather high.

Larry, thank you.
I've been blessed to have one of those foxes as a hunting partner for 40 seasons.

Bushmaster1313, Your gun is absolutely beautiful! I love the SXS simplicity and nice wood and rich bluing. My favorite shotguns have always been SXS doubles with straight stocks and splitner forends. Yours comes damn close to perfection.
ps..what is your cat's name? a real beauty.

I also love Browning shotguns. I call my 20-gauge Browning Superposed Lightning, "Jewel." Bought it out of the Yong-Song PX in S. Korea in 1972 for the grand sum of $197.00. I can't begin to estimate how many quail, dove, pheasants, and grouse have been bagged by this lovely, quick handling bird gun.
Browning Superposed Lightning in 20-gauge with 26.5-inch barrels choked Improved Cylinder & Modified.
This photo was taken with my great-niece, Kayleigh, just this last September, while shooting dove.
Hope I didn't bore y'all with too many pictures.
Thanks for looking at my "Jewel."
God bless,
Birdgun

Love a nice side by side and there are a lot here. Over under shotguns are nice also but a nice SxS catches my eye. He’d a CZ ZP 149 and sold it in a weak moment yrs ago. Recently found a CZ ZP 349 which is rare in the US and bought it from Simpson Ltd. it’s a true Sidelock but with coil springs. Larry

Many years ago, an old man told me, "The gun shops are full of powerful, efficient blasters designed to maximize the number of birds killed and targets broken. The 28 gauge is supposed to be a gentleman's gun, a gift to yourself for having arrived at a point where the experience of shooting a nimble little 28 gauge is more important than scores or bag counts. Buy one you can be proud to own, is my advice. Buy the best one you can find, that has double triggers and preferably with a color case hardened action, and nice wood."
Now that I am an old man, the Ithacas, Parkers and "Elsies" are rare collectibles. A few years ago I stumbled on to a 28 gauge Dickinson SxS on sale at the local Cabela's. Twenty-eight inch barrels, case hardened receiver, double triggers, beautiful wood, English straight stock, and splinter fore end it looks every bit the classic bird gun.
I should have taken his advice years ago. At a perfectly balanced 5-1/4 pounds it is a joy to carry all day.

Some very nice guns posted but am still partial to my TB 1100 trap. Cost me $335 new back in 80. Believe the bead up front in ivory too. Just love the finely figured walnut. Will be passing this one down.

My father left me this Bernardelli two barrel set, and an old Elgin pocketwatch, when he passed. Sure would rather give them up and have him back, if only for a few minutes. Miss you Dad.

For me, a sidekick double from Baker or LC Smith is the epitome of a fine shotgun. Especially when chambered in the smaller gauges.
