Firearms Manuals.
I was exploring a web site called the Internet Archive at archive.org and ran across this in the section on libraries.
Firearm Manuals : Free Texts : Free Download, Borrow and Streaming : Internet Archive
It's got a bit of everything (or maybe a lot of everything, I haven't gone through it yet). I thought the members here might find it interesting.

If you buy a used Ruger and you need a Operators Manual, call their CS Department ant they will mail you one for free.
I had a friend with a small LGS, that included one with every used Ruger sold. He kept one of each in the store and usually ordered free replacements once a month.

I hope the new owners of Stevespages deloused the website. It was notorious for trojans and viruses at one time.

I don't know about gun manuals, but I have found dozens of product manuals for all sorts of items by just Googling something like "Instruction manual for xxxxx, model xxx" Cameras, electronics, appliances, etc. Seems that many manufacturers maintain an on-line library which contains manuals in PDF for most everything they ever made. I recently found an instruction manual for a 15 YO refrigerator for one of my wife's friends.

Me too. I found the manual for my 1972 Sea Ray SRV 190 that way. It's on a boating forum, but it's in PDF. Not bad for a 48 year old boat.
Any way I wasn't particularly looking for any firearms manual. Just stumbled across it and thought people here might be interested. Seems there are lots of resources.

From what I remember, Stevespages had a notice that S&W lawyers demanded that all S&W info had to be removed from the site. Is this still true?

OK but I think the site I posted above still has the info there.

I don't need no stinking manuals.
I know everything and what I don't
know or eventually screw up, I know
I can come to the internet for expert
advice. And it's always better than
the manuals.
Besides the manufacturers
don't really know nothing.

Why thank you for this. The site has not had any infections/malware/trojans for over 7 years... certainly not in the 5 years I've had it since Steves passing. Requiring registration was a very good step in this regard. Hmmm, kinda like this site does.

Most of the manuals are so generic that any "revolver" manual within a decade would suffice.
