Default Sp101 finally got a nice set of panels

I recently posted my bad luck with trying to order nice looking panels for my Ruger SP101. Two sets of panels cracked/crumbled the first day they arrived (these were from reputable companies).

I decided to try some Spresser panels. These are stabilized camel bone, with Ruger medallions. They are thicker than normal, and fill the hand nicely. I think they are a winner!!

I recommend this company to anyone shopping for after market grips.

They look nice! I went with stag inserts for my SP-101 DAO.

The cylinder looks weird, like it gets smaller at the front. What's up with that?

the current SP101's have a tapered cylinder as a 'melt' for holstering.
