Kel Tec customer service....
Sent in my old second hand P-11 week before. Got it back today. All fixed. No charge.
NOTE: Keltec sent out a notice that they will no longer be supporting P-11s and some older guns, but they do have parts at this time and will continue as long as they hold out.

Kel-Tec's lifetime warranty is the same as S&W's.
When the replacement parts run out, so does the lifetime warranty.

For a US automobile, the manufacturer is required by law to have replacement parts available for 10 years after manufacture date.
Too bad all manufacturers aren't required to.

I've always had good experiences with Kel-Tec's CS. With that said, if you want heirloom guns that your great-grandkids will be enjoying in 2085, they are probably not the top choice.

I can still get parts for my great great grandfathers 1858 Remington, and my grandfathers 1911 Colt. Just saying.

The way the gun market is evolving a manufacturer would need a warehouse for all the parts to service all guns for a life time so I can see their side of it but calling it a life time warranty is misleading.

HAha, I have a Davidson's Kel Tec that is a pile.
Called and Davidson won't touch it. So much for they're lifetime fix or replace warranty, too.

The one time I sent my P-40 to Kel-tec it came back promptly, 100% fixed and they polished the chamber without being asked.
So, good experience.
I do think I might sell my P-40 off, though. There are some folks out there who want a 9/10 shot .40S&W in a super light package. It has been a good gun.

last I checked law pertaining to auto manufacturers was 3 years + that only applied to emission + drivability components - can you give a source for the 10 year regulation ? -

Glad you had a good experience OP. I have yet to have a kel tec that I needed warranty service on. Good blasters, especially for the $$. Taurus has a bad warranty. I would suspect that crosses over into the Rossi world these days also. I bought a Taurus Raging Judge Magnum just for the fun factor and I'm having issues with it. Sent it back on my nickle, and they received it at their service department on November 6th 2019, and they are still sitting on it waiting to fix it. when I inquire about it, all they respond is it's in the repair process. You want to see bad warranty service, buy a Taurus and try to get it fixed when ( not if) it has a issue. As was stated before, live and learn. Wish mine wasn't on $900 gun though.

Yeah, we need the gov’t telling manufacturers how many years to keep parts on hand. OK.

FYI auto parts availability
I checked yesterday with FTC about auto parts availability - there is no 3 or 10 year federal regulations - the law is that parts for emission + safety must be available only while vehicle is under manufacturers warranty - the parts can be available from any new source [ not necessarily the vehicle manufacturer ] - trim + accessories are not covered by this law -
