Can anyone post a photo of the interior of their oak display case?
The one that came with my new gun was attacked by bugs (moths?) at some time
in its life and needs some TLC.
They've eaten the cardboard backer that the wood partitions were stapled to and they're now rattling around under the baize material. A photo would sure help me to position everything correctly. I can install the material properly but would hate to put something in the wrong position. Also, a good photo would give me a better idea of how much material to leave for the "wrinkles".
The box has wells for an extra barrel, the muzzle brake, and a pistol with an 8" or 10" barrel. There's no center depression for a .22 short slide box.
Here's a couple of photos of what I'm up against. There's still a few more weeks of Winter and my workshop is warm!
