My Standard Mfg. SAA is on its way
I ordered the gun on Feb. 1st. and was notified today that the gun has shipped to my FFL. Can't wait to get it in my grubby paws.

Very nice. By all reports they are the worthy successor to US Firearms Mfg. Co. I wish them success and hope they see fit to offer some semi custom options like USFA did. People are willing to pay if Standard will accept the orders.

Beautiful. I know one piece grips cost extra. Are your grips standard wood or an upgrade? They are spectacular.

A Higher Standard
Congratulations on that Standard Mfg Co.
There is a Single Action Revolver at my favorite Local Gun Shop.
I have looked at it several times. If am not mistaken it looks
exactly like yours.
That SA is Manufactured at such a High Level of Craftsmanship
its unbelievable now a days. SMC is made and finished
exactly as the High Level as my US Fire Arms below.
The Std Mfg Co and USFA are made in America. Colt doesn't
even come close. Wait until you see how nicely machined the
interior is, unbelievable
Please give a Range Report when you get it and shoot it.
The Best to you and your Endeavors.

Nice Bill, if you get it before Tuesday morning you gotta bring it to the club. The grips look fantastic, almost like Fishpaws. Load some ammo for it, I’ll shoot it for you. Larry

The grips are a one piece fancy upgrade. It's in .45 Colt.

What amazes me is the same company that made Bill’s beautiful revolver—a true work of art, makes this (and many other cutting-edge designs. I think every model they make is well reviewed and made. What a diverse company):

I noticed in your photo the screw in the yoke isn't perfectly aligned. Better send it back when it arrives.
Just kidding. Beautiful gun. I do love that little touch they do of aligning all the screws. Always wondered how much time that adds to the build.

Great looking SAA's.
I saw those and his 1911's about 3,maybe 4 yrs ago when Galazan's had a set up at a vintage shotgun shoot in PA. They had brought along a bit of everything.
The SAA's looked every bit a good as the USFA then.
He told me he had hired a group of older Colt employees that had been let go from Colt. They were bench workers, fitters and the like. With no union constraints, they could do their best work and it showed. The high quality modern machinery used to make the parts also helps. It's all the same operation as Connecticut Shotgun Mfg. Co,. making the AH Fox, Win 21 and the assorted O/U shotgun models.
High quality wood?, there's a warehouse full of it there. No plain stuff n site. Shotgun and rifle blanks with grain running the wrong way probably gets cut up for pistol grips.

I was surprised that their SAA guns were laser engraved, though. Again, thanks for sharing.
