A LGS was having Glock Days (factory reps and free rental/range time, just buy the ammo on site). I was really intending to try a G48, but since that had 44's I decided to try one for 10 rounds and I like it so much I bought one.
Kind of G19 size but it's a featherweight at less than 15 ounces. Rep said no restrictions on dry firing.
Trigger weight feels similar to the centerfires but has a different feel, crisper actually. Gun has no tendency to squirm in my hand as I pull the trigger.
Drive home happens to pass by my range so I had to try my NIB gun. Only ammo I had was Thunderbolts, not semiauto friendly in cold (20's) as they get erratic powerwise. Over 40 rounds, the weak ones stovepiped and strong ones cycled properly, just as I expected. Next trip I will shoot copper plated HV.
Edit - day 2. Still subfreezing at the range. 55 rounds of Federal Automatch (40gr uncoated bullet, 1200 fps in a rifle) loaded 10+1 went off without a hitch.
The rear sight is adjustable. Didn't notice that till day 2.
The racking force on the slide is like a 9 mm. Pretty stiff.
