Israeli Magnum research 1911
Does anyone have any experience with these, Quality wise, accuracy? Any better or any worse than say Springfields, Rock River and S and W? Thanks, Ken

Magnum Research
I can only compare it to Colt and Dan Wesson, Fit and finish is better than the Colt. It has a better trigger pull than the Colt. Fit and finish is not as good as it is on the DW, trigger is equal. Accuracy is better than the Colt and equal to the DW. The only negative with the Magnum Research is the sharp edges on the slide. It has had 0 malfunctions in 5 years and thousands of rounds of off the shelf ammo. At less than half the price of the DW and Colt, in my opinion it is under rated and a much better value.

Magnum Research 1911
Thanks for the response. I have a friend who passed away and I am handeling the sale of his guns for his widow. He has one of these, purchased new in 2013 and still unfired. I have a Kimber, a Colt and a Ruger, but was thinking of buying this, even though I don't really need it. It's the blued one with the large "billboard" logo on the slide, which I'm not too keen on. LGS has offered $375, I can get it for that plus $35 transfer fees. Should I go for it? Thanks.
