That sir is a beautiful collection of fine cutlery. Curious do you use them or are they for fondling and slicing paper ? Either way I am sure they bring you much enjoyment.

I've got several nice knives but this custom made one is my favorite.
Damascus blade and bolster, fossil ivory scales, mosaic pins and grape vine file work on the upper tang.

My wife had this Mirabile skinning knife made for me twenty years ago. I have used it to dress several Moose. Handy and sharp. I don't take it into the field anymore.

There are a few knives I have that I like quite a bit.

My first knife was a Swiss Army knife my parents bought me for my birthday over 30 years ago. It's the Explorer model. I still have the original tweezers, toothpick, and pen, but the scales were replaced with some custom rosewood slabs. Needs some cleaning of the internals.

My current favorite is probably my EDC, a Spyderco Delica that's been Wharncliffe'd down to a ~2.5" blade.

I also have a Spyderco Ladybug with pink scales. They're a limited edition model with proceeds benefiting breast cancer research. I bought the lanyard off eBay. I keep hoping to find one of the pink-handled Delicas.

I got the Cold Steel Recon Tanto as a factory second at a knife show back in the 90s. One of the sheath straps had a snap installed backwards and the black finish on the blade isn't very uniform. I can't remember how much I paid for it, but do remember it was about half the price of a new one at the time.

Probably the nicest knife I have is from James English of Mountain Home Knives. The handle is linen micarta. I bought this knife from him at a knife show. A really nice guy. His knives normally came with nylon sheaths, but when I told him I liked the knife but prefer leather sheaths he offered to make one for me, no extra charge. A couple of weeks later it showed up in my mailbox with a very nicely made leather sheath. While I've seen pictures of his knives on the Internet from time to time, I have no idea if he's still in business.

For the most part, not really works of art, but I like them.

Here's a few.

Arno Bernard camp knife with mammoth ivory scales.

An original Cattaraugus 225Q

One of my Bark River blades

And one you aren't likely to see many of, a first production run Yarborough knife. I literally had to earn the right to buy this.

Peakes--

I started ordering them in the 1970s and specified double brass guards, even on knives that normally would have a single guard, stag handles with left-handed finger grooves, and brass buttcaps.

I also have a few Ithaca "Track" knives, which were essentially handmade in, I think, Whitefish, Montana.

D'Holder is a fine maker, and I've gathered a few of his blades over the years, along with a number of lesser-known makers whose knives I admire.

Pretty tough to pick a favorite. But these two are special to me. The small model 21 was a reward for getting my journeyman plumbing license the larger model 19 was for my masters.

One of my dearest posessions, knife and sheath made for me in the mid 70's by a mentor and friend, both of us sportfishing captains running our boats out of Pillar Point Harbor, CA.
Al Guest was an orphan during the depression jumping railcars city to city looking for manual labor work, the rear machine gunner in a Dauntless dive bomber during WW2 surviving a shoot down over the Pacific and a week in a raft before being rescued by a sub, an undercover cop involved in a 'front page' shootout that put him in a hospital for two months recovering from bullet wounds, and after retiring from the force with a medical pension a sportfishing captain until retiring to a southern Oregon mountain cabin where he later passed away. They broke the mold with Al.

The Hellcat was a fighter. Maybe you mean a Dauntless dive bomber?

NICE BLADES!!!!!!!!

These are the ones consumed by my 2018 fire - not sure which is the better picture - these were all ivory, exotic bone, etc::

These were my modest mother of pearl collection:

I lost this puppy, too:

Hazen Legion 6.0 survival knife

BUT!!! Not to worry - some pretty knives Yoda still has!!!

CRKT CK:

Cold Steel Laredo Bowie:

Arno Bernard:

Made by a knifemaker named "Toner" - i forget if he was a Texan or from elsewhere - the knife is designed to be carried in that leather pocket sheath that he made:

Myers (from East Texas) custom knife made from rusted leaf spring pink ivory wood handles - the wood sun bleached on one side:

Muela Oryx from Spain:

Modern Damascus with bone handles:

This is a better picture:

Custom folder called "Longhorn" -

Case Rooster - year unknown - the others I had went up in smoke with no pictures:

A little change up from what you guys are showing. A few from my late hubby's collection that I still have. All are customs, and all have had diamond thumb studs added to them by a jeweler friend.

This knife was made about 30 years ago by Barry Trindle of Earlham, IA. He was a personal friend of my husbands and the knife was made specially for him. All of the work on the knife was done by Mr. Trindle. The 3 blade configuration is called Congress Whittler.

I could do this for days with different knives, if ya all get tired of me just say so!

These knives are properly called Puukkos, more commonly called Nordic or Scandinavian knives. Origin is Finland.

Love that Model as Well. Also really enjoy My Gambler and Copper Companion. The Jade and 19-5 are some Beautiful ones as well. The Hunter is a early 90’s Model. Hasn’t been in a Sheath😂

I just received this Slim Buddy from Kim Ralston yesterday. It joins his small skinner and Slim Hunter. The first to are scaled in Bighorn and the Hunter in Dall. My Slim Hunter in pre ban ivory has already been given to my oldest son as an heirloom knife. These will go to my other kids. I really like how Kim doesn't have any excess bulk or weight on his Slim knives.

My most expensive knife is the smallest of the bunch and was a gift from my wife. It is one of William Henry's creations for those Sunday to to meeting times.

Not high end... but my favorite nonetheless.

A vintage Ka-Bar USMC fighting knife, that my step-Dad made into a "theater knife" and carried during his WWII service

Been bored lately so doing a little whittling with the Case Swayback Jack in carbon steel. Ball in cage is a quick-ish, satisfying project.

Nice job on the ball and cage. These are my pocket Whittler‘s. All are old KA-BAR knives with re shaped blades. Whittling is such a good way to pass the time.

Here are three Boker folding hunting knives (with smooth bone handles, wood handles and stag handles). One (the bone one) has locking blades. All have 2 large blades. All are German-made, and all have carbon-steel blades.

When I ordered this most recent knife from Kim and told him to use his creativity in what he used for the scales as long as they included musk ox. He used D2 in .100 instead of .0125 and the scales feature buffalo horn, natural white material and musk ox. My oldest son already said it goes to him in my will some day!
