Default Cheap 22 Revolvers

Or should I say inexpensive? I picked this one up about a year ago, it had a thin white layer of something growing on all of the non-steel parts. I got it all cleaned up and found that it shoots right where you point it. H Schmidt is the manufacturer and the model is HS 21S, caliber 22 mag. Out the door for 75 bucks.

I have a 21s in .22lr. It does shoot very very accurately, which i attribute chiefly to its scary light single action pull. Didnt know they made a .22 mag, thats a fun round.

You have got yourself one of the better German SAs. I sold many of them they were my standard cheap 22. The Blue 22 were 3/$100 wholesale in 80s. The combo was a little more and nickel was optional. Many that bought them are still bragging on them. I have seen these being passed off as German High Standards. Some of thes had a cast metal weight under each grip panel. Without them the gun was like a banjo when cocked. Made almost as much noise as firing. Much better gun than Rough Rider.

I have a Rohm (RG 23) 4" double action 22 pot metal revolver with a steel liner for the barrel. It is about the size of a S&W 34 and this one gun shoot as good as my 34! Bought it used for $30 OTD in 1984.

Not really a semi-auto, not really a revolver - Well, the firing pin revolves, does that count? Here are a few pics of my EIG .22. I think I either paid $25.00 for it, or got it for free with a much "pricier" purchase. In any case, its a hoot to shoot. The little firing "pin" rotates around to the 4 barrels - does that make it a revolver?? A fun little gun that I'm glad I grabbed - about 30 years ago if I recall.

The last one appears to be a copy of the Mossberg Brownie.

I've had and tried cheap .22 handguns but having nicer ones at the same time spoiled me.

My buddy has a Heritage SA revolver. It's quite accurate. Cheap, probably mostly made of zinc, and it has a safety. A fun gun. My hands don't do well with a SA grip or I'd probably buy one. Got some not-so-cheap .22 autos I don't shoot very much.
