Picked this up at a local gun show about 6 or 7 years ago.
I haven't shot it much, hate loading the magazines!
Need to get one of those thingies to make it easier.

Before Ruger offered this first photo through Talon Distributors, I built this (second photo) one for Appleseed shoots, with military style adjustable sights, M1 stock, military sling.

Before Ruger offered their take down 10/22, I built this folding stock take down with a Tactical Solutions receiver and various Other aftermarket parts.

Mine was a used one (used little if at all!) that rattled around behind the seat of a truck for a few years. Lots of cosmetic damage to the stock and barrel. So I changed them
Hogue overmold, Shaw barrel, Volquartsen trigger kit, BSA scope. Very accurate out to 200 yds and just over $400 including the donor.

Went way down the rabbit hole with 10/22's in the last few years. Started with a factory target with DNZ scope mount and 4x Leupold. Then decided to start building them. First the red pistol built off a Brownells railed receiver with a PMACA chassis. Then the M1 Carbine clone with a steel Kingston Armory receiver, stock kit from Sarco and a stainless barrel. And most recently a Ruger Challenger Takedown receiver and MI chassis with a cut/threaded factory stainless barrel. All fun shooters, but the red pistol is my favorite.

Bought this 10/22 Take-Down a few years ago. Not a big fan of synthetic stocks, nor non-traditional stocks. Acquired a Ruger walnut Take-Down stock and added a Nikon scope and swapped out the trigger.

@gdogs The red "pistol" 10/22 is just awesome. Congrats.

Have two, Standard Model from 1989 and an International from about 2008. Only mod is mounting a scope.

I'm seriously thinking about stamping one of mine as a SBR since I heard the wait times are really fast on a ATF eForm 1 now days.

This is what I'd like to do. Pic is not my rifle.

Thanks for the pics of the International models. Should be worth a premium these days. Think the 44 magnum version was also made in the International series. That was quite a gun.

Here's mine, nothing special about it except the stainless barrel. With the right ammo it'll shoot half-inch groups at 50 yards (and that's with a cheap Simmons!), but I think most of them will do that.
