Default One of the last Oberndorf proofed rifles

This is my other S carbine and it wasn’t proofed until August 1946 under French occupation. This was not a Walter Roll rifle ( he was the plant manager who assembled a small batch of rifles after the end of the war and were marked WR near the serial number. the French removed most of the machinery and then blew up the factory. This S carbine is in near new condition and is in 8mm Mauser caliber. Notice the plum colored extractor and bolt release lever. Bill
