Remington 141 slide action rifle
Does anyone know of someone who knows and/or repairs Remington 141 pump rifles?? Had a question about a cartridge feeding issue I am having with my own rifle. Email, phone contact, etc. would be appreciated. Thanks for any information on this!

I have a 14 & 141. I had another 141 and just sold it, all 35 Rems. The 141 I’ve had over 50yrs one of my favorite woods deer guns. The only trouble I had was the feed. I took it apart and cleaned it and has been ok since. They will give feeding problems if you are using some kind of short bullet.
I did that too loading 357 HPs, made OAL cartridge to short to feed properly. Good luck on Smith, we use to have several good ones in area.
They have all passed and all we got is Gomers with wrenches doing AR builds. Something like a 141 or 81 would stroke them out.

OK thanks! Our best smith in my area passed last year. He was an expert machinist as well which didn't hurt any. He could make any part for any gun. He took a part from a gun a friend of mine owned and duplicated it to fix mine. You just don't find alot of this expertise and skill today.
