These intrigued me when they first came out years ago. Initially, they had some bugs in them as somewhat expected with a new gun. Have been hearing better things about them lately. I fired a brand new one today right out of the box. I sort of lined up the rear sights, but mainly concentrated on the front high viz sight on a 4 inch bullseye at 15 yards. I fired three shots and all were in the bull. Later I fired 10 more shots and dropped one low. Decided I wanted one. Have been looking in the gun shops in the area (as far as 60 miles north), no one had any in stock. So along comes a friend of mine with her husband's new toys (he is laid up with a shoulder replacement), and in her range bag was the brand new PMR-30. I asked her where he got it and when. She said the other day before his surgery and at a small local gun shop that I usually do not go to. Went there and asked the clerk if they had any? He said not in the cases and he did not think any were in the back. Any older salesman said yes we do and in five minutes he handed me one. Opened the box to see the color and said "I'll take it." Filled out the paperwork and gave him some Ben's. He said the background check may take a while due to the volume od sales, told him I understood. He was back in five minutes and said i had a "Golden Ticket", they had approved the sale. So within 30 minutes I was able to buy and get approved for the piece. Lucky, just lucky.
