Default DPMS PANTHER ARMS ORACLE 5.56MM NATO

Okay guys bare with me i am new to the forums so please don't dog me or be and get sarcastic with me!!!!!!

so like my head line says DPMS PANTHER ARMS ORACLE 5.56MM NATO. so i am on here to find out info on problems and ect i had bought this ar15 back in 2018 and has been awsome and reliable and good to me for 2 and half years but now i am having problems with it and here is the problems FTF Failure To Feed and Jamms Rounds i had bought a utg leapers A2 standard full length rifle length stock assembly from midway usa and added it on to the oracle begining this year and now i am having problems but here is the weird thing before i installed the A2 stock the oracle worked flawlessly but now its a pain in the *** after installing the A2 stock. if anyone has had the same problem or problems please let me know what to do and also i have a really good felling that the problem is the buffer weight and the buffer spring because the buffer and the buffer spring is so stiff and strong that it is hard pull the charging handle to charge the oracle to breach and chamber rounds so i am considering its the buffer spring and buffer so i am going to see if there is lighter or the lightest buffer weight and buffer spring and also i will be changing mags to try that also and the rounds i am shooting are 5.56MM NATO FMJ's and FMJ BT's 55GR and .223 rem 55GR FMJ's and FMJ BT's i shoot fed american eagle/winchester/hornady frontier/wolf/tulammo and never had any problems with neither of these manufacture ammos and now i have problem with tulammo .223 rem 55gr fmj with the A2 stock with the spring and buffer

Number one: WELCOME TO THE BEST FORUM IN THE GUN WORLD!

Number two: I think you are already on the right trail! Buffer, spring charging handle fit. I'm not an AR/M-16 armorer but there are several on here. We have a AR-15 sub-forum, and your best chance to catch their attention is post your question there.

Welcome to the forum.

Changing from an A4 stock configuration to an A2 can, as you have diagnosed, create problems with short stroking, feeding and reliability.
A friend of mine decided to do this with his match rifle.

The lower is a White Oak Armament with a fully adjustable stock and cheek piece. Why he felt it was necessary to change the factory spring and buffer was beyond my comprehension but, he is a retired engineer and perceived a solution for a problem that did not exist.

You may need to check with some of your fellow shooters to see if they have extra buffer tubes and springs to try out on your rifle. My friend finally went back to the factory set up and his feeding problems disappeared.

I doubt that the magazines are the problem and the ammo should not be an issue either. You may want to take a look at the AR-15 forum for posts involving this issue.

Good luck and good shooting!

Most likely a mismatch determined by switching from a 16" bbl and buffer/spring assembly to a 20" buffer/spring assembly!

Smiles,
