MEECES!
Ok, I admit to a strange fascination with the so-called "Mouse Guns". There's just something about these little, small caliber guns that appeals to me and over the years I've acquired several of them.
Yeah, I know all the arguments against them. "If the bad guy realizes he's been shot...yadda,yadda,yadda." However, these small guns do have their place. I think everybody should have a gun for those times when they can't carry a gun.
The first thing you need to understand is that with these tiny, small caliber pistols is that you have to change tactics. Forget center mass. These guns are meant to be used at bad breath distances. Instead, stick the gun right in the bad guys face and pull the trigger. Several times. If you're lucky, the bullet may enter through an eye socket or sinus cavity and go directly into the brain resulting in immediate incapacitation. However, don't count on it. Instead, while the bad guy is distracted by this sudden pain and blood, you run like Hell! Remember, the primary purpose of a self defense gun is to save your life. What happens to the bad guy is unimportant as long as you survive.
.22 vs .25? Personally, I prefer the .25acp. The .22LR may have a slight power advantage, but the .25 is a center fire cartridge. We've all had rimfires that misfired. And frankly, in recent years, misfires with .22s seem to be more and more frequent. The center fire .25 acp is much more reliable. However, in recent years several very small pistols have emerged in .32 acp caliber. Not long ago I acquired a Beretta 3032 Tomcat. Its pretty much the same size as Beretta's .22 and .25 DA/SA offerings in a better caliber. I'm still working with it, but so far, I've grown to like it.
Do i recommend a mouse gun as a primary carry? No, of course not. However, there are times when discretion is called for due to dress or social circumstances. That's where these tiny pistols really shine. Then again, they also serve extremely well as a non-intrusive back-up.
Here's my mouse collection. Sorry, I'm not much of a photographer.
Left to right, top to bottom:
1. Raven 25 Auto: don't laugh. While they are the epitome of the cheap, saturday night special, the darn things work and are totally reliable.
2. PSP-25 (now called the PSA-25): An extremely well made licensed copy of the classic Browning Baby. I think it may be better as mine has a much better trigger.
3. Browning Baby: A true classic which many Police Officers carried as a back-up.
4. Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket: another classic.
5. Beretta 950B Jetfire: Yet another well known pocket pistol.
6. Beretta 3032 Tomcat: already mentioned
7. Walther TPH: my only .22 as the .25 versions are extremely rare in this country often costing $1000 or more.
8. Taurus PT-25: a DAO copy of the Beretta design.
Well, there you have it. My collection of Mouse Guns. Unlike Mr. Jinks, I love meeces to pieces!
Show us yours!

I agree they have their place. My personal carry gun is a Galesi .25 auto which is small enough that if I am not thinking about it, I don't even know it's in my pocket. And no one could know I am even carrying. If I ever have to use it, it won't be beyond 10 feet, so hitting a vital area is nearly guaranteed. Joe Stalin's personal executioner Vasily Blokhin killed thousands of "enemies of the state" with a .25 Walther (probably shot in the back of the head).

My little ones are a Ruger LCP .380 and the Beretta 21a.
I have a 3032 and like it but find it’s a little “fat”
I find that it has a place in a bathroom drawer since it recoils little for my wife, can be kept chambered without the safety engaged with the first shot being double action and it’s stainless.
I never want to get caught with my pants down.

I have a couple. This one was my great-grandfather's,he carried it in a leather glove when he was on the bench. I have shot it, and it works well despite it's age and size.
If you are concerned that a 25 ACP won't do the job, check out this discussion -
Can the 25 ACP be taken seriously?
I also have a 351c which is chambered in 22 Mag. It is so light, it kind of feels like a kids cap gun.
I mostly carry it with CCI shot capsules for snakes, but I am pretty certain that the CCI Maxi Mag Hollowpoint would do the trick on larger vermin and two legged snakes

I only got one, I think.
But I Love that Walther TPH! Send it to me and I’ll send you 5 Lottery Tickets which will give multiple opportunities to win millions!
You can buy up every 25 on the planet!
As I have posted, my Beretta flip up barrel affection probably comes from it being the first handgun I ever fired.
Out in the hills where I’m from not many folks had handguns.

I posted this one before. It's a cheap little Fabrique de Armes de Guerre .25 acp that belonged to my dad's late Uncle Vern, a less-than-scrupulous attorney who got disbarred for bribing a jury. Uncle Vern was also rumored to be a frequent visitor to local brothels, supposedly to consult with clients.
Anyway, he gave this gun to my dad in the late 1930's with the admonition, "Don't ever shoot anybody with this. You'll liable to make them awful mad."
Oh, if this little gun could talk, just imagine the stories it could tell.
When I find myself in a situation where I need to pack a "mouse gun," this is the one I pack...a Ruger LCP in .380. Much more accurate and reliable than Uncle Vern's old gun.

I had no use for the puny things for a long time... but things change... I tried a friends little Phoenix 22... was a hoot you can hit an 8 inch plate at 25 yard with it... got one for myself... and my son... then little 380's... Taurus & Ruger.. then a little Beretta 21a in 22lr with crimson trace grips... took the grips off... no point in them in my opinion... last one was a Kahr in 9mm... maybe not a mouse... but pretty small...

Meeces
I'm afraid I only have one that qualifies. Purchased new in 1989, to carry as a back up on my ankle while at "work". I later added the ebony extension to the magazine. .32 caliber. Reliable with Federal, Winchester Silvertip, and PMC Bronze HP ammunition.

They definitely have their place. Been after a pocket .380 for a while now for those times when I can legally carry a gun but "can't." I had planned on using some of my stimulus money to get one. Even went so far as to buy some .380 ammo in anticipation. But the one I was after was nowhere to be found locally and a few relatively higher-priced ones online (I was hoping to handle one before buying). Then unforeseen financial issues hit, and I'm now stuck with ammo I can't shoot. Typical. *sigh*
However, a pocket .380 will be my next gun purchase. If I can save up the money. And find one. *fingers crossed*

Beretta Pico is at the top of my list. Only place I could find any was on GB. Local and online retailers were out. Now I just have to wait to save up the money and hope I don't hit a snag in the process. *fingers crossed*

I love the little shooters. I got a bunch of .25 ammo for next to nothing when Wally World was clearing out their pistol ammo, so I’ve been burning it up in my FN 1906.

I have a bunch of them or "herd" not gonna post pictures. The cream of the crop is the SeeCamp ins 32 acp. The holy grail is the trifecta 22lr, 32 acp and 380 auto. The 380 is just not pleasant to shoot.
The best one I had was the NAA Guardian boat anchor. The frame was made by Kahr. DA only I modified the trigger. so it shot nice. Just too darn heavy in the pocket.
Carried a KT 32 and 380 for a while before Ruger made a better one. Still carry the LCP. The others are in the safe. Colt Baby Browning Fn. A revolver is not a mouse gun.

I had a Pico. just could not warm up to it. Got rid of it. BUT I see know that the upgraded it.
https://www.beretta.com/en-us/pico/
Heck my Kahr PM 9 fits my pocket just a tad larger than a LCP.
Hard to beat the LCP. It goes everywhere and is shootable

Mine are
1) Bauer Bros stainless copy of the Baby Browning 25acp
2) S&W M63-3 22lr
3) Iver Johnnson TP22lr
4) Iver Johnnson TP25acp
5) Taurus TCP380acp
As a primary the Taurus is the only one that ever gets the nod.
For deep cover BUG I like the Bauer 25 best, but for shooting my first choice is the Iver Johnson TP25 - though it is basically the same size as an LCP or the TCP380 so it is for range fun only.

Got a .25 Colt Vest Pocket in .25 acp, a .32 FN 1910, a PPK in .32, a PPK in .380, and a PPK/S in .380. The FN and the Colt are 100 years old and shoot just fine.
Some complain that the PPK and /S .380s have sharp recoil, and they kinda do, but not uncomfortably so. I've read that the Rugers (LCP?) in .380 are uncomfortable to shoot, but I've never fired one. They're tiny guns, good for carry, not so good at the range.
I had a Kel-Tec .32, was a pretty good little gun, but a friend liked it better than I did.

My two .25 autos. I got the Colt to show with the .25 auto holsters I’ve collected over the years, this is probably 1/2 of them. I shoot the Colt now and then and have put it in my pocket now and then. I’ve been thinking about getting one of the new Ruger LCP .22 autos.
I’ve heard that some German officers in WW II carried .25’s to commit suicide with. I’ve also heard the report about Stalin’s elimination specialist.
Regards,
turnerriver

My only 25acp is a CZ45.
Nice DA only pistol.
No safety, no slide latch, no buttons,,,just pull the DA trigger which is very smooth.
Made/proofed in 1947.
These are a bit larger than the average 'vest pocket 25'. But for me that was the advantage. The smaller Bernardelli Baby I had before this was too small and hard to handle safely plus that one was not totally reliable.
I had an Astra FireCat 25 sometime back and that I should have kept. But where it went I don't remember.
I added the engraving one day to this one when I was recovering from a H/A
Rust blue finish over the engraving has held up nice. I just pocket carry it.

Looks like I’m not TOO late. (I was working.)
They’re fun for what they are. Some are definitely better than others but they all are great representatives.
I know the 1910 Mauser isn’t a “mouser” but at least I didn’t include the 1914, 1934, or any of the PP’s and PPK.
The outstanding Seecamp was basically a “copy” of the CZ45 and I’d like one.

Here are mine, Beretta 21A .22lr and CZ in 6.35 (.25) I inherited the CZ it was my Grandma's "purse gun".
When (if) things normalize I might take a look at getting something in .380
right now nothing available in the area.

In the center, except for a four digit serial number, an otherwise unmarked mystery pistol of unknown origin. It is flanked by a Colt Model N from 1911 and a Browning Baby from 1954.

I have a look alike for that one.... A little Spanish made gun. Has Spanish proofs, says "Model 1914 Automatic Pistol 6.35 m/m" and has the name "The Victory" and a rather obvious added on "Made In Spain" stamp. The last probably being required when it was exported to the US as it barely fits on the front of the frame (and is a little crooked too!). Has an aftermarket mag that works okay with four rounds but jams with five or six. Mine also has checkered wooden grips but otherwise looks just like your little gun. I think this style was one of the most popular with Spanish makers as I have seen a lot of them with many different names (or none at all like yours!).

I’ve heard that some German officers in WW II carried .25’s to commit suicide with. I’ve also heard the report about Stalin’s elimination specialist.

Well, Hitler used a .32 PPK to off himself. He kept it locked in a safe in his private quarters. Strange, that last bit of how a maniac who was surrounded by armed guards and was responsible for the death of millions kept his personal gun locked in a safe. Wonder why he kept it locked up...from whom?
Also, I read in one of the biographies of Hitler that he carried a .25 Walther in a pocket holster sewed into a front pocket. Don't know if this is true or not, but it sounds reasonable.

It seems pretty nicely made, with assembly numbers throughout. Despite the superficial resemblance to the Colt 1908 it is a concealed hammer pistol rather than striker fired. It lacks the Colt's grip safety but does come with a magazine disconnect. A surprisingly effective "guttersnipe" sighting system, hand size groups at 20 feet are not hard to do.
It has proven entirely reliable with .25 FMJ (as have its "named" cousins. I am unsure of the value of "boutique bullets" in this caliber. I'd think getting the bullet deep enough to poke a hole in something important might be of more value.

You'll like it when you get it. I've had mine for almost 2 years now. It took a bit of getting-used-to, but it is accurate, 100% reliable, and as easy to carry as my flip-phone.

There is a story that in his early days of founding the Nazi Party, Hitler carried a S&W Ladysmith revolver.

Never heard that. Goering was a fan of S&W revolvers, though.

See: Smith and Wesson LadySmith.....?
There is also a story that Hitler used the Ladysmith to murder his cousin/lover Geli Raubal. It has always been controversial if Geli committed suicide or was murdered by Hitler (or by someone working for Hitler) in a jealous rage caused by Geli getting pregnant by an Austrian Jew. The weapon used has been stated as being Hitler's .32 Walther but who knows if that is correct or not.

Geli was Hitler's half-sister's daughter. His niece, or half-niece. His mother was married to HIS half-niece. Although Alois's paternity isn't clear. I remember reading that Geli was having an affair with Hitler's chauffer...I think.
The link is about a 1st Ladysmith. I believe they were not in .22 LR, but in .22 Long. I would love to see the provenance on this...it would have German proofs on it, for one thing.

All the years and posts I spent on the Seecamp forum did not know of the CZ 45??. Here I thought Larry (and his father were genius
I love CZ products now if I can fine one of those! (I doubt it)
The CZ 92 looks even cooler,

Meeces
Love these two, not so small so you can actually grip and shoot em easily, and they are reliable so far.

I had a CZ vz45, really thought it was cool but didn't like shooting it. Something about it was uncomfortable to hold. It was quite reliable tho, and a great design.

Yes, if it is the size of a Seecamp, they are not pleasant to shoot! My SC is 32 acp and can not imagine shooting the 380 version!

The CZ is bigger than a seecamp, same size as the keltec P32.
Had a seecamp 32 it wasnt for me. Not fun to shoot in 32 i would not want the 380 either.
Forgot this astra.

I'm not sure that a .380 qualifies as a mousegun. It might not be in the same class as any 9mms and up but, still, IMHO it's a grown up caliber compared to true mouseguns like .32s, 25s, and .22s.
These are mouseguns, including the .22 WMR derringers
CZ Duo .25 ACP - made in German occupied Czechoslovakia in 1944
A larger couple of mouseguns, two Walther .22s:
PSA .25
Seecamp .32
.25 ACP group photo including a Beretta 950-BS that I carried for many years:
This is a very large mousegun, a Beretta M81 in .32 ACP
I have a few .380s, all essentially the same size as the aforesaid Cheetah, but as .380s I don't include them here. YMMV
I'm a little surprised I don't have a picture of my Beretta M70; it's a wonderful pistol and, again, a very large mousegun. But this is the mousiest gun of them all, NAA mini-revolver in .22 Short:
