Colt NM 38 Spcl Mid-Range
Here is one you don't see very often. It is a Mk 111, when Colt finally figured out how to get it to feed and eject properly. It does have the MR suffix in the SN, so it is NOT a conversion. EC. You have to disregard some light reflection though. Enjoy.

Mine was slicked up by Fred Kart. It runs on 2.5 of BE.

I would never call that model rare, but with only several thousand produced spread across the country over the years they don't show up for sale very often. The box, etc. is a nice addition.
I have three mags with mine. Two really nice and the other, not so much, but it functions well.
Any one have an Colt AMU pistol?

I have the complete top end (Conversion Unit) with magazine but mine was converted to .38 Special.

Very nice, and a great stippling job on the front of grip frame.
Oh yea, Colt factory letter says shipped 14 NOV '73 to M&N Distributors, Torrance, CA. 30 in shipment. My guess is they were destined for a police shooting team.
