That's your "beach" blade? Are you fighting sharks and pirates often???
Just kidding! Very nice knife, sir.

The Model 16 is my favorite Randall. Don't have one, but I've handled a couple and don't they feel good in your hand!? I have a Cold Steel R1 Military Classic in V1 san mai. Nice production blade but NO comparison in size, balance or quality.

I think of a “beach blade” as used to cut bait for surf casting. I think that knife is a bit nice for that!

This one may never see the beach but, it will see a few days in the field in Tennessee this hunting season.
A Mod. 1 fighting knife. It is a nice companion piece to the Mod. 28 Randall.

A relative has an absolutely perfect Model 16 with stainless guard and black sheath. I've owned a couple and liked them, sort of a slimmer Model 14.
If allowed at your beach, it might be handy there or on a boat.
Been watching a lot of shark TV, and a big knife might save some victims.
