Default Sig P365

Found one in stock with MS and at a non-inflated price. Very happy!

Two things:
I have never posted pictures.
It was ordered on line about eleven last night. Have the order number but no shipping info yet. I am anxious.

Congrats on the new P365.
I've got about 1260 trouble free rounds through mine.
I have recently just started carrying it again, after trying some bigger compact size pistols.
For me just a lot more comfortable to carry, even in hybrid form with the XL grip.

Update - Added Sig flat trigger, MCARBO spring kit and Armory Craft extended mag release.
Round count at 1428.

Congrats Graydon!

Going on 3 years of use and over 3,000 rds. It’s the Energizer bunny.

Yep, no pictures, but been carrying one for a little over a year, along with a DW Valkyrie commander depending weather, area etc. Liked the 365 so much got the better half one for her carry and also a XL for other duties. They are nice little, well concealable, soft shooting pistolas. I think you will like it.

What is the difference between the 365 and the "XL" model? Is it just a slightly longer grip area and a larger magazine?

You will be greatly pleased with the P365. I've been a revolver guy since I began my law enforcement career in 1978. Even when we went to semi-autos I always had an off duty/backup/undercover revolver, up until I retired from active service in 2009 and as a reserve thereafter. That said, when I got the P365 I stopped carrying a revolver (except for a .44 magnum for deer hunting) and went to the P365 exclusively.

It was a "no-brainer" given the size, weight, reliability (at least for me and everyone I personally know that has one) and enhanced magazine capacity.

Just a few gratuitous photos to show size, compared to a Model 940.

Correct H Richard, longer grip area, longer slide and 12 round standard instead of standard 10 on 365. There are also 15 round mags for the XL

I retired my G19 and my 642 after experiencing a 365. It is now my EDC, armed detail, and duty (RSO) gun 24/7. I use 10 round mags for EDC concealed IWB, 12 rounders for armed details with sport coat OWB and 15 rounders in RSO uniform OWB.
Laid mine atop my 642 (as in post above) and realized I could have twice the rounds for the same size plus a bit more weight. And an extra 10-15 rounds in my back left pocket vs a 5 round speed loader!
>2000 rounds so far.

Bass Pro and Cabelas had them on sale for $499 a couple of weeks ago and I ordered one on line and after I bought the gun with my credit card they stated it was back ordered. I figured I would cancel the order in a couple of days if they had no idea when they would be getting guns in but to my surprise about three days later they said my gun was at the local store ready to pick up. I was shocked!

I have 15 round mags for my "standard" P365.

I bought mine using the blue label program, forget just how much, but it was a significant discount over the non-blue label versions in the display case.

Sure looks like the ideal size for carry and conceal. Have a CS-9 but would love to try a 365. Everyone raves about them. How do you owners like the sights compared to sights on Third Gen. guns?

I'm surprised so many people nowadays complain about a gun's sights, it's not like the 1960s where semi-auto pistols like Colt 1911's and Browning High Power's and about all little guns had very small sights. It's rare that I don't like the sights on a new handgun but I am glad the Sig's sights are big and made of steel. I also was never that impressed with night sights but the Sig 365 sights has a front tritium dot that's about twice as big as most night sights and pretty fast and easy to pick up in dim light.

Great choice for an EDC. Mine is now sporting an XL frame with 12 round mags.

After EDC-ing my M60 and then my 60-7 for almost 39 years I finally got myself a P365. Over 2,200 rounds through so far and other than a bad Magazine - no problems. My M60-7 is now retired as an EDC.

11 vs 5 rounds.....

quicker reloads.....

lighter weight, thinner and smaller package than a Revolver....

much less recoil with SD loads.....

As I got older I disliked my monthly practice sessions with the M60-7 and carry loads - not a good thing to fall into! Shooting 100 rounds at a session out of my P365 is a piece of cake and fun - no punishing recoil.

factory night sights....

Federal's HST 124 grain ammo performance is probably better and more reliable than .38 Spl. ammo....

About the sights. The front dot is large and easy to see but IMHO the rear sight dots should be larger.
