Thanks again forum
After reading knife threads I broke down and purchased a Kershaw Leek. I got the olive aluminum with black blade. I hope I don’t lose it too quickly.
I think I’ll like it since I prefer a thin light EDC blade. I will be careful to not “ overuse” it.
Besides, I can’t find a gun or any ammo to buy right now so I’m concentrating on blades for a while.

I have a red Swiss Army knife for trimming finger nails, opening envelopes etc,,, I’ve been carrying a Zero Tolerance M300 with a plain black blade for many years. It’s for serious business only. Strong clip keeps it in my left rear pocket.
Regards, Porkie

Yeah, they mean Zero tolerance with that one. It looks like a good heavy use knife.

I had a Leek for a while. I wanted to try an assisted-opener. It was a nice knife. I think mine had the blue aluminum handles.
What I found was that I didn't really like assisted-openers. The Leek just didn't do it for me. I ended up selling it.
I really like my Spyderco Delicas, though.

I have had both the Leek and Scallion. Several Scallions because it was the favored of the two and I had a habit of losing them.
Cured losing affordable knives the same way I cured losing affordable sunglasses. Buy a premium model and you will take far more care with it.
