Default I finally got a big bore...

Model 94. I found this at a small local gun show this past Saturday. No box, so there's NO collector value, but I really don't care about the missing box because this gun is going to get shot. A lot.

Photo hint: If you click on the photos a couple of times; you should be able to enlarge the view.

This will hopefully make up for the 2006 Short Rifle in 38-55 that I foolishly sold when I left Midland, TX in 2007.

This new one in the photos is a 1982 Big Bore 94 American Bald Eagle Silver Edition in 375 Winchester. Not much of a collector's item but it's made without a rebounding hammer, without a cross-bolt or thumb safety, and without Angle Eject.

I think I'm really going to like it.

Very cool! Great gun and cartridge. Nothing in North America is too much for that one.

Very nice!

I've actually been planning on buying a Rossi R92 in .45 Long Colt.

Absolutely, I'll load my own, just like I did for the 38-55. My Dillon 550 is all ready to go, just waiting on some brass.
