Thoughts on CZ P-07
My friend inherited a CZ P-07 9mm and I got to shoot it today. Never been a fan of plastic guns, but this CZ shot excellent. I had groups just as good if not better than my all steel CZ SP-01. Shot and felt much better than Glocks I have handled. Wonder why these particular CZ's don't get much love? Too bad the P-07 is off roster in CA or I'd be tempted to get one after today's range session.

I have 6 CZ's and only 1 is plastic , my p 10 c , and its a great shooter with an excellent trigger . As far as I am concerned the less people on the CZ band wagon the more for us .

I'm a huge fan of CZ pistols, having owned 3 of them but sold them away for Smiths I wanted. I too think the P 07 I had shot every bit as good as the SP-01 Tactical I had. Would buy one again in a heartbeat.
I have talked to many people that are huge fans of Sigs, but poo-poo the CZ's and I never understood why.

I think very highly of CZ products and have had several, especial CZ-75s but the square trigger guard on the P07 is really ugly to me and even worse than a Glock. Maybe I shouldn't worry about a guns appearance so much but there are other guns that shoot just as well and are aesthetically pleasing to my eyes.

The P-07 definitely has a unique look. Kind of futuristic, IMO. I kind of like it but I could see how it might not appeal to some people. It definitely is a contrast to the utilitarian looks of a Glock. Maybe that's why it never gained near the popularity of other plastic guns? Too bad, because having shot plastic Sigs, Glocks, and CZ's...IMO the CZ wins hands down. I found the trigger on the P-07 better than my SP-01.
When I went to the range yesterday it was 100 degrees, my hand was sweating so bad that my SP-01 was slipping in my palm while I was shooting it. The P-07 had such aggressive stippling all over that it held rock solid and I had no problem holding or shooting it with a sweaty palm.

I have owned a CZ 75 SA, aP10-C that I just sold and still own a P01 Omega. Love CZ's and will own more. The P-07 is big in Europe with LE and military both. Never had a P-07 but I here nothing but good about them.

The CZ-07 is a great pistol, accurate and reliable. I had one in my night stand for years. Most people would love the trigger, but for me it was too light for a self defense pistol. A M&P9 2.0 takes it's place in my night stand now. I still own a CZ SP01 Tactical, but I think I really like my S&W 5906 better.

I love Czs. I have a couple, but I don't have polymer one. I have fired a the the P09, the P07's bigger brother. I like it!!! It's on my list of things to buy - among other things.

Smart CZ owners don’t talk them up too much. It only tends to drive the price up.
For a long time they were a well-kept secret. That cat is out of the bag now.

CZ's are great guns and was the platform the Bren 10's were modeled after. I have a newly acquired EAA Witness Compact (Tangfoglio) in 10mm that is considered a clone of the CZ's.
CZ didn't actually make a 10mm until Tangfoglio came out with theirs.

I had a P-07 and thought it was a was a very nice gun, especially when they were being sold used for under $300. What convinced me to part ways with it was the price of magazines and the limited supply of holsters. Sights were not that great either. For any pistol I use for competition I like to have five or six magazines. At 45$ a mag that makes an affordable pistol a lot less affordable. For me, one of the big attractions of Glocks is that you can get magpul magazines for under $15 for them. Their triggers are certainly inferior to CZ but the huge range and low cost of accessories makes them appealing.
