One of these things is not like the others, one of these things just doesn't belong..
...especially if you're trying to light your cigarette.

I have one of those Ravens. Cheap, ugly and the very epitome of the Saturday Night Special. But the darn things are utterly reliable and go bang every single time.

The term "Saturday night special" came into wider use with the passing of the Gun Control Act of 1968 because the act banned the importation and manufacture of many inexpensive firearms.
This provided a market for the guy who came up with them, I can't remember his name, but US made firearms were exempt from this law and he made thousands of them.
I think they sold for something like $30 new back in the day, and some gun dealers just gave them away with a gun purchase.

The anti gunners, always for the "little guy", forget that poor people can't afford Smiths, Glocks, Sigs, etc.

As I recall, the Rohm RG import was one of the main impetuses for the GCA. Rohm countered by opening a factory in Miami, and John Hinckley Jr. promptly used one to shoot President Reagan, prompting further product liability litigation . . .

I bought a NIB FIE Titan .25 ACP the other week just because I didn't have one and I had a bunch of .25 ACP ammo and no pistol. LGS has a range, and I took it in back while the NICS check was compiling to fire a round, which occurred flawlessly. Very cool little pistols . . .

Having tried (emphasis on "tried") to test fire several Raven firearms I think you might be safe. Granted mine were confiscated crime weapons but they were ****.

Used to be Cheap
I saw a Jennings .22 on a dealers table at the last gunshow, $200.00. Just walked away, could hardly keep from laughing out-loud.

My guess is the Raven .25 auto is in the middle of three lighters made to look like guns, or real toy guns.

I used to order them for $37.00. They were super reliable, but once you got to 50 feet, the bullet would often enter the target sideways.
