Got this .22 last week. It's a neat little pump. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, except for function. Don't have a photo, but it's like a Winchester 62...which I've always wanted since I was a kid.

I bought my son the carbine version in 1990 or 1991. His handles short, long, or long rifle cartridges. It shoots straight, is well made, and will slam fire.

The Rossi 62 is a very nice .22 rifle. Sights are a bit crude, by original Winchester standards, but the two rifles I have owned functioned very well and were reliable.

I have the carbine version. While it may not be the prettiest thing, its well made and very accurate. This thing and a set of spinners makes for a really fun afternoon.

Mine may be a carbine, has a 24" or 23" barrel. I think they're handsome, personally. When I was a beamish boy, my neighbor had a Winchester. We used to cross paths in the woods and they seemed to never miss a squirrel. Me, with my cheap bolt single-shot .22 was envious.

I have an older pre Braztech Rossi 62 that has always been a blast. I grew up on a Winchester 61 and always wanted a hammer gun too. One of my many gun buying regrets is passing on a 16” 92 in stainless/hard chrome with an octagonal barrel at a show in early 2000s. I think they wanted $200 for it and I have never seen another since.

I picked up the carbine version about 40 years ago and it is my favorite 22, just a hoot to shoot.

The carbine version has a 16" barrel. I have a Rossi 62 that I bought new in the early 1990's for my oldest son, who was about 6 or 7 at the time. It's a carbine with the short barrel and it was no time before he could roll an aluminum can across the gravel pit with it. Later he took a few squirrels with it.

It was handed down to my youngest son a few years later and he also became pretty good with it. It's still in 95% condition because I also used the little pump as a training opportunity on how to clean and maintain a firearm after shooting it.

My 5 year old grandson will be get to learn how to roll a few cans with it in a year or so.

I have a later Taurus 62. I was disappointed to find out they are LR only unless you modify them. It also has the lawyer safety on top.

A 62 lever from Taurus. Very few were ever actually made. First time I have ever seen one that wasn't just a catalog pic. Not affiliated in any way with this.
