Older Randall Sheath
When I bought a 225Q a couple weeks ago it came in a Randall sheath for a #16. I don't know how old it is but it appears to be a vintage piece. Maybe some Randall fans could ID it from the imprint on the back. I'm thinking about selling it. Well used but in good serviceable condition.

With the smooth button its called a 'baby dot' I believe and I think its a Johnson sheath.
If Rick Bowles sees this he'll have a better answer,

I guess I'll just have to do a lot more research.

I believe that model sheath was treated with wax ,to waterproof for dive use. I would guess around $200.

Well, were it me, if it’s a good fit, I’d keep it for the Cattaraugus 225Q. That’s one of the best knives ever.

The gold paracord did not come as part of the sheath originally as issued.
That's an after thought addition.

It's amazing what people bring to you when you set up at the gun shows. Thanks for putting in the link to the story from 2018.
