Who does work on these now a days. I used to use Clark Custom Guns but they don't touch the Ruger 22 pistol (the old man would be rolling over in his grave).
I want a gunsmith who is capable of threading the barrel of my MK111 for a silencer and machining a tread protector. Not a big deal,but I would like to use someone who has done this before and will not screw up the gun. Just standard threads for a suppressor. Re tap the barrel for the front sight and perhaps while it is in the shop get rid of the magazine disconnect thingy.
Seems like most sites are just parts suppliers.

SGW Gunsmith over on Ruger Forum (.com) may be your guy. I've never used his services but he posts quite a bit there and I've never heard any complaints about him.
