Default Colt Folder with Odd Action?

I'm not sure what this Colt knife is called. Operating it takes a little practice. Any ideas?

I googled a little and apparently it's a swing lock folder (?) made by Barry Wood (he passed in 2014 according to the internet). Looks like his knives are beautifully made and not cheap. Please follow the links:

I had a 'new in box' one of those; that included the Colt box it came from the factory in. I sold mine about 25 +/- years ago for $250 if I recall correctly. Sold it to a knife dealer at a local gun show. It was too beautiful to keep in my possession since I don't collect and certainly couldn't bring myself to cut weeds in the garden.
EDIT: Since I first posted this, I've been trying to remember where I got mine from.... I am pretty sure that I bought it when I was living in Mn. (1971 thru 1974). I think I picked it up new in what I'd call a "fire safety" store. I believe I paid about $25 new back then (which was a good some of money for a knife, but it WAS BEAUTIFUL). Also, the original box it came in was a smaller version of the COLT (cardboard) box the guns came in (it was simulated dark wood and had the COLT logo in gold). All of this is from an old man's memory, but I think my memory serves well this time.
J.

Thanks for the link. It appears his son-in-law collaborated with him on some of those designs. Mine came from a knife collector friend who comes around the shows here. We both enjoy the unusual when it comes to knives or guns.

I've never seen one to be honest. They look very exquisite and high quality, hope you enjoy yours.
