If you don't have a chronograph, get one. Experimenting with .38 Super loads is great fun, but without a chronograph, you can't know what is going on. Real results can be significantly different than published results. I found loads hundreds of fps below published data.

Hi Gamecock.

I've had the same Oehler Model 12 chronograph since 1979. The space above the screens where the bullets pass is "plum wore out!"

There's no use in playing the handloading game without a chronograph.
