Default Need help buying a M1911 from CMP

Would anyone know a dealer or business that would purchase a M1911 from CMP to resale to me with an uplift? I see CMP is getting ready for another round of selling them, however I am unable to go through the rigmarole to submit an application. Any names or direction is appreciated. Thank You.

I think the CMP rules are directed toward selling to individuals. Apparently selling them after their purchase from the CMP is discouraged but I have seen examples online; this may be your best path.

CMP only sells to individuals who are willing to do the paperwork. They do not sell to dealers. They very strongly discourage reselling the guns. Oh, many people do do it. I'm sure you can find some out there right now. But you'll also find that the prices are much higher. In many cases the sellers double the price. BTW: if CMP catches you doing this, they'll ban you from any further purchases for life.

Why not? The paperwork isn't that hard. Just fill it out and get one the right way.

edit to add:
I just checked GB and they do have a very nice Ithaca CMP 1911 for sale with all the paperwork and case from CMP. Asking price is $2750.
Considering the guy who bought it from CMP paid $1050 for it, you see the kind of scalper prices some people are asking.
