The Official Christmas 2020 Holiday Haul Thread! (Post your Gun/Knife Gifts here!)
I've seen a few threads posted here since yesterday regarding Firearms, Knives, and accessories, so I figured why not post one dedicated thread where anyone can post what they received for Christmas for all to enjoy.
I only received one relevant gift for Christmas this year, but one which I am extremely thankful for. Forum regulars may recall a thread I posted early this year requesting suggestions for a high quality, American-Made Bowie Knife for general purposes on behalf of my brother, which ultimately resulted in the Buck 119 being chosen based on community feedback. My brother really loves that knife, and I really took a shine to it myself.
Well, my brother ended up getting me a Buck 120 as a Christmas gift, and it's a real beauty.
My brother just ended up getting a plain Buck 119 with black polymer grips for himself, but this Buck 120 is really fancy in comparison, with wooden grips and a golden pommel/handguard. Apparently he had also requested that it be engraved with my favorite Bible verse, but unfortunately the guy who did the engraving was off by the time that they received the order, so it was left plain. My brother had also considered having the blade mirror polished, but decided against it since he knows I prefer more of a Satin Finish.

Purchased this set up for myself for Christmas. If I do 4 pad installations it will pay for itself ( did one yesterday and have four set up for this afternoon). Takes about 15 minutes to complete from removal of the old one to finished installation of the new one. Have a bunch of older trap guns with rock hard original pads.

Well I didn't ask Santa for much this year, my boy is just shy of 3yo so we focused mostly on him...
However... The lady did surprise the heck out of me when I pulled a box of Black Talons out of my stocking. It shocked the heck out of me because she doesn't know much about firearms, let alone the nostalgia these rounds have....
The in laws also came threw with a bottle of 18year Jameson  , I think ill pop open NEW year's eve
I'll throw the Talons in with the NIB 945 I pull out once a year, a perfect trifecta I say...

New Case Tribal Lock in "Jigged Peach Bone ". I like it!!!!!
It's been Christmas all year regarding guns, no new one of those under the tree.

I told my sons not to get me anything. But my younger one did surprise me with a DVD set of Band of Brothers and The Pacific. I've seen BoB before and really liked it. Heard about the Pacific, but never saw it.
Yesterday about noon I put in the first disc of The Pacific to check it out. I ended up spending the entire day and watched all 10 episodes.  This is a really excellent mini-series. I highly recommend it!
